Taking my headphones out of my ear

I open the door to my professors office

"Hi Mr J"  I don't miss the way he slowly moves his gaze down my body

"Come sit sweetheart" he waves to the chair in front of his desk

I bite my lip out of habit while I lower my self down onto the leather chair

"What did you want to speak to me about?" I squeeze my hands tight at my side as he walks over to me

He stops when he's right in front of me

"We'll I wanted to speak with you about your grades"

I raise a brow in question "I have a A+ for your class"

He nods "you do but I have been seeing you lose focus lately"

"Oh" I state while continuing to bite my lip which immediately draws his attention

"well thank you for letting me know" I quickly get up from my seat

He frowns

"See you at class Mr J"

He opens his mouth to say something else

I slam the door before he can finish

I grab my phone out of my back pocket

I open my text thread with Amy

Me:I just got out of my meeting with Mr. J he was acting totally weird

Amy:omg really?! I heard a rumor going around that he was sleeping with Jess.

Me:oh my gosh!

Amy:I'm at the cafe on campus want to meet up?

Me:sure, I'm walking over right now

.....

Soon I'm walking over to the entrance of the cafe

I put my phone back in my back pocket as I walk up to order a drink from the barista

"Can I get a fresh lemonade please?"

"What's the name for that order?" 

"Melody"  I say

another worker yells behind her to hurry up with the orders

I put a few dollars into the tip jar while I wait for my drink

A worker calls out "lemonade for Melody!?"

I hurry to go get it at the counter

I walk over to Amy and settle down in the booth

"Hey boo"

I smile at her

"Hey how was your classes?" I ask her

"Horrible!" 

"Why what happened?"

She starts to talk about how annoying her partner on a group project was and how he keeps flirting with her

"You should totally go out with him Amy he seems sweet"

She rolls her eyes

"no way"

"We'll he clearly likes you what's wrong with that?"

She crosses her arms

"why are you on his side"

i giggle at her antics

"I'm not on his side Amy I'm on yours like always,I'm just saying he seems nice you should give him a shot"

She blows out a long breath

" as much as I hate to admit it I think your right I'm being dramatic, he seems like a nice guy"

I roll my eyes playfully and stick my tongue out at her

"Now let's talk about what the hell happened with Mr.J"

Amy saids while scooting closer to me

"He didn't really do anything just the way his tone was and he kept looking at me like..."

Amy rose her brow "like what?"

I mumble

"What was that?" Amy saids leaning closer to hear me better

"Like he wanted to rip my clothes off..." I say louder

"Ewwww I'm dropping out of all my classes with him"

i let out a loud laugh
