Lynix opened the chest briefly after un-vanishing and grabbed a netherite ingot, swiftly placing a smithing table down, upgrading his sword in record speed knowing the three upstairs would hear him and instantly give chase.


He heard footsteps rush towards him, and in front of Lynix he saw Liger. Liger looked.. scared of him as Lynix held the sword in his hand, absolutely no armor on. Lynix knew he had won already, intimidation goes a long way, and Liger was being so heavily influenced by him the fight would've been a cakewalk.
Doni was seen coming down the stairs, blocking off his exit back up to the portal. He glared at Liger who timidly stared back, murmuring; "This ends here, Lynix."
"Get out of my way, Liger. Don't make me take care of you now." Lynix approached him with a growl, as Liger raised his shield defensively.
"Brotha' just get back, we can literally just talk about this bro!" He pleaded as Doni stared, horrified at the weapon in Lynix's hands. Lynix defensively jumped and jabbed straight into Ligers shield, taking out half of his durability and almost his eye.

"Oh jesus-!" Liger pounced back, causing Doni to flap his wings back to warn Kiply not to come down the rest of the stairs whilst this was unfolding.
Kiply moved Doni's wing out of the way as Liger and Lynix were now in the midst of a sword fight, Lynix had broken Ligers shield in the few seconds Doni had looked away.

The pendant shined on Lynix's neck as his eyes remained a deep emerald green, further signifying the control this voice had him in. The words of revenge held his throat like ropes and almost made him speechless as he fought Liger with utter determination in his eyes. Each swing of the boys swords signified the mood in the room, thickening tension made it hard to breathe. Clanking of the sticks against their palms was the pre-sound of the gems colliding, scraping and imminently breaking off pieces of Ligers sword with ease due to Ligers inexperience fighting someone.. Something, so strong.

Liger visibly became more and more worried as Lynix kept deflecting his blows, as well as other jabs. Seeing Ligers panic, Doni stepped in.
"Liger! I have a totem for you!-" Doni called out, as Liger spun around his eyes lightened up, as he struggled to defend himself from Lynix. "Pass em! I can't hold him o-"

"You should've never kept your guard down." Lynix snarled, his sword piercing through Ligers chest. The world kind of shut down as blood trickled down Ligers chest and his broken armor pieces scattered on the floor. Lynix pulled his sword out of Ligers chest after what felt like an eternity, a sheer coat of crimson red that dimmed Lynix's netherite sword.
Doni dropped the totem of undying in Ligers hand nervously before he collapsed on his knees.
Ligers eyes trembled with confusion and fear as he fell limp to the floor before Kiply lunged out, tears weltering her blindfold. "You MONSTER." She screamed in disbelief as Doni held her back, tears formed down his face as he just stared Lynix's cold look with hurt eyes.

Lynix just stared, his sinful look broke into a smile as Ligers blood shined inside of his green eyes. He was. happy. Something about Liger hitting the floor made him feel so much more powerful, as if it gave a message to just how serious he was taking his revenge plan to be.
Doni slowly approached Liger and lifted him into his arms, feeling an extremely weak pulse as his blood stained Doni's hand. He began to shake as he was speechless, neither him nor Kiply thought he would actually murder Liger.

Kiplys heart raced as Lynix just.. smiled. He smiled eerily, shoved her into the wall to keep Kiply off of him long enough to run up the stairs. Within mere seconds, he left the nether without another word, having accomplished what he wanted.. and thensome.

As Kiply was about to give chase to Lynix, the totem popped in Ligers hand, allowing his wound to heal slightly but he was still unconscious and bleeding out. This would buy them time.. Not a lot of it however.
"He needs Bionic. Asap. I'll teleport us, hold in there Liger!" Kiply frantically pulled out her menu, spamming Bionic and Quiff teleportation requests as her hands shook violently.
Doni slowly cried on the spot, breaking down from this.. switch, in Lynix. "This is all my fault.." he croaked, looking away from Kiply.
"Doni.. This isn't you, its Lynix who stabbed Liger!"
"I pushed Lynix to his limit, whatever this is, I caused Lynix to give into its biddings.." Doni sobbed, hugging Liger softly in his arms as guilt began to eat at his usually strong ego. "I'll never forgive myself if Liger doesn't make it.."
"Hey hey, no.. He will, Doni.. Come on, let's go to Bionic's, grab my arm." Kiply held her arm out reassuringly, Doni held Liger close and grabbed hit, and they swiftly teleported back into the overworld to Bionics place, hopefully in time to save their hybrid friend.
