Quiff could barely stand on his feet as he held the enchanted bow in his arms, still aimed at Lynix. Lynix, clearly ready to end him right then and there, had his hand hover over where he had been shot by the arrow and somehow.. healed himself.
"That was.. bold of you Quiff. I honor you for trying to save your little 'Bionic'." Lynix approached Quiff, who refused to budge a muscle. My head rapidly spun around to see Bionic clawing and struggling to get out of Rage's grip, he was screaming at Lynix not to do anything to him, looking completely spent and shattered as he was covered in dirt and hay.

Lynix twirled the arrow in his hands with a small hum. "I really thought you would be too weak to even walk right now. Silly me of not draining more of your XP.." Lynix then poked the iron tip of the arrow towards Quiff's neck, making a very strong backlash from Bionic come out. Lynix smirked hearing how distraught Bionic seemingly was about his lover being in this situation.. I probably looked stupid just standing here. Just watching Lynix exploit Bionic's voice.. but what can I do, really?

...

I can fight.

I grabbed Lynix by his shoulder and shoved him off of Quiff. "That's enough." I boldly spoke, my voice no longer trembling from paranoia nor pain. The stinging pain in my wings had subsided to a reasonable amount, and my hot bar was already filled with anything I would've needed to potentially handle Lynix professionally.
"Since when did you get to call the shots here?" Lynix turned aggressively towards me, drawing his netherite sword. It was still stained with Bionic's blood, and a few dried streaks that were obviously Ligers.
I took a deep breath. "You're not murdering anyone else. You want me, right?" I drew my own netherite sword from my creative menu. "Then fight me, don't be a wimp and try fighting these losers. All they did was follow what I told them to do." Part of this was untrue, Bionic and Rage tended to have a mind of their own when it came to treating Lynix a certain way.
"A wimp? You've already rigged this fight. You know since you're in creative I can't-"
"Your explosion at your base damaged me." I intercepted his statement quickly, "Meaning.. yes, you can hurt me while I'm in Creative for whatever sick reason that is."
Lynix's expression broke into another smile. He circled me like a shark with its prey, I did my best to follow him as he circled. "Maybe if I get rid of you first, things can be easier when it comes to dealing with your other backstabbers.." Lynix hisses, his voice distorted rapidly with each word that left his mouth.

My back was tense as my breathing slowly picked up. Was this really a good idea? What if I die, and the only person who could relatively fight Lynix would be Skiddzie or Rage? But no, it all dwelled down to me. Liger wouldn't be fighting for his life in a coma if it weren't for me. Quiff wouldn't be about to die if I had just.. checked on him more often. Could've, Should've. It was up to me to avenge Liger, and I can't sit here and-

Wait...
Liger and Bionic went for usual fighting techniques.
My train of thought paused as Lynix swung his sword once at me. I deflected it with my own basic netherite, causing quite the unpleasant sound.
-What if I had to hit the necklace, and not Lynix? That's the thing that's controlling him after all.
I clutched my sword and jabbed harshly, the netherite scratching against the pendant as Lynix's eyes shot up to be shocked.
"I forgot you were one of the more- smarter.. ones.." Lynix growled. I just held onto my smug smirk, standing back as he got ready to approach me again.

Out of the corner of my eye, Bionic had Quiff in his arms. Despite Bionics tired state himself, Quiff was seemingly unconscious as Rage stayed nearby incase Bionic were to go down as well.
No. I can't get distracted. Lynix lunged at me as soon as my attention bent somewhere else, but I managed to deflect the hit by recoiling my arms back, and planting my feet harshly to the grassy terrain. Kiply and Skiddzie weren't looking at the fight, instead, distracted seemingly by a shadowy figure in the distance. I couldn't tell what or who it was.
I had to come up with a quick solution to this fight, so we went back and forth for a while. I would scratch the pendant, he would try to stab or slash my arm or chest. Other turns, it resulted in my sword losing durability and fast- leaving only a brief window of time for me to figure something out.
I saw a.. yellowish tail in the distance. My eyes widened, it couldn't be him right?
Yet, as the figure slowly approached Lynix from behind, I smirked and clashed my sword against Lynix's in a bit of a harsher fashion.
Then. Just as Lynix tugged his sword away from my counter-attack, I felt myself quickly pull away and stab him. All of the way through, easily knocking out most of his health.
I pulled my sword out of his chest, a bit queasy at the sight of seeing so much of Lynix's blood, but his hand traced over the spot as he switched to defense, holding his sword up in the opposite hand.

"LIGER, DO IT NOW!" I yelled. Liger, coming out of seemingly nowhere, pounced onto Lynix using his hind legs to boost him up. Then, I rapidly threw a totem of undying to him in which he caught it with his tail, flung the totem up in the air and caught it with one of his hands.
"What the?!-" Lynix peered over, looking at Liger. "I KILLED YOU.-"
"Cats have nine lives, I thought you of all people would know that!" Liger snipped back.
He bore his claws and lightly held Lynix up off of his feet, piercing the talons just through his suit for extra protection. Then, he swiftly dropped the totem in Lynix's off hand, nodding at me to quickly do what I had to.
Lynix's eyes widened, as the whites of his eyes blackened more. His voice sounded almost demonic and inhuman at this rate. "NO, NO WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!"
"Sorry Lynix, I have to do this.." I peered away, as my sword hit the necklace, a loud noise from the totem popping emerged.

Green and yellowish particles flew from the lock, sending Liger down and unclipping Lynix from his grip, the now nearly broken pendant skid onto the cobblestone nearby as the sun set itself once more. I hadn't realized how long I was engaging in this battle with Lynix after all.
My eyes darted to Liger as I helped him up. He was all smiles for whatever reason, showing off his tusks. "That was amazing brotha! I haven't felt so alive!"
"How did you even do that?!" I checked out his wounds, which were almost all healed.
"Bionic used a golden apple on me as medicine, it probably deflected whatever the weird pendant thingamajig was doin' to me."
...

"Speaking of pendant.."
