I opened my eyes to a darkness circle, indicating I had blindness of some sort.

I jolted, instantly swinging my arms around in a grasping and clawing motion. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" I hissed, flapping my wings wildly before I heard it.

"You're still so naive."

"..Lynix?" I turned towards the distorted voice. There was still a sliver of his normal voice.. hidden away behind a wall of someone he's not. I knew I must've looked stupid, standing there with my eyes blinded, following a voice that wanted me dead.

"Why so blue, Doni?" The voice beckoned. Soon, it came into my vision through the circle of darkness, I didn't dare look at the blonde who stood next to me. "It isn't so FUN when you're the one being hunted, now is it?" Lynix instantly snapped, a low smirk formed on his face, the pendant illuminating on his neck with a green glow, spiraling up and out of my field of view.

"Lynix.. Dude. This has to stop, like- like right now." I stood my ground, my voice quaking pathetically as Lynix had the backbone to laugh at me, making it a mockery almost. "Stop..? When have you ever stopped when I was fed up with your games?" He smiled sickly, his demeanor remaining cold. My eyes auto-piloted down to his gaze and I saw his eyes.. they were different, these blackish roots came from the corner of his eyes and started consuming the normal eye whites as if he was becoming reformed into a new person.

"I know.. I know I took it too far sometimes, I'm sorry.." I murmured. Lynix didn't seem too happy, yet he kept grinning. "It's my turn to get back at you."

I felt tears prick from my eyes. What if I didn't fight him? The first time we talked since he took my Spectator Mode was this. A goodbye fight. No, did I really want to fight him on this?

I saw Lynix pull his netherite sword out and my lip quivered. I was scared yet stuck in place, frozen like a statue. I gave up then, just idle as tears poured down my face.

"BATMAN, NOW!"

I swung my head as the blindness effect vanished from my face, the familiar black cat came from the shadows, pouncing at Lynix's face which made him stumble backwards, cursing as he pried the feline from his face.

Rage scoffed as the cat ran back up to myself and Rage, its tail defensively swaying back and forth as Lynix looked at it disgustedly. "What the hell, Batman? God, I knew having a stupid cat would be a problem for this picture!" He glared, gripping his sword angrily. "How the hell did you even find this place."

"Oh it's simple.." Rage smiled, adding onto Lynix's frustration. "I knew making Doni upset would make him turn into Dr. Donji, and then you would spy on Dr. Donji.. but the whole time, I made my way to your base and just snuck in. Your cat is a better guide than you'll ever be."

My eyes widened. Rage did that all on purpose, for me? That was.. unexpected, to say the least. Dang, Lynix has a smart cat.

Lynix's eyes were only becoming blacker by the second, he held his free hand out and clutched it as suddenly, all three of us- I'm not even sure how his magic worked on a literal animal, we were all restrained as he shook from just how upset he was. "You're all idiots. Literal psychopaths, working with a sociopathic liar for what?!" He yelled, his voice still distorting all over the place. "See, when I got rid of Doni, I was just going to let the rest of you puny nuisances live, but now look at what you've done Rage."

Rage just smiled. He started to laugh, making both me and Lynix look at him confusingly.

"What's so funny." He demanded, his invisible grip around us tightening as I lowly whimpered from my wings practically beginning to be crushed. Batman begun to hiss from the discomfort as well, Rage laughed psychopathically.

"YOU'VE ALWAYS BEEN THE FOOL, LYNIX!" He yelled, his eyes watering from how much he was laughing. "I SENT MY COORDINATES TO EVERYONE. IT ENDS HERE."

"Ohh. You're a little snitch." Lynix walked towards Rage, who looked at him with resistance burning in his eyes. Lynix held his sword up to Rage's neck, truly fed up with his antics. "Let's see how they enjoy walking into another corpse~"

"There won't be a need for that." a feminine voice called from an unknown direction, much catching his attention once an arrow flew in his direction, making him draw the sword from being pressed against Rage's neck, he deflected the arrow as he dropped the three of us, and I instantly picked up Batman and turned to the voice.
