Quiff woke up finally after a long time of what seemed to be him being unresponsive. Bionic was by his side the entire time, squeezing his hand every now and then until he woke up.
"Bionic..?" Quiff coughed, sitting up. Looking around.. they were back at Bionic's place, nothing was destroyed, and Bionic had a bandage over his stomach.
"Quiff!" The robot shrieked, hugging him tightly. One of the primary things Quiff noticed then was that he wasn't nearly as sluggish as he was before.
His hands hugged Bionic back automatically, as Bionic began to sob into the crook of his neck.
Quiff rubbed his back with a reassuring smile, as Bionic repeated phrases like "I thought I was never going to see you again!" As well as "I really didn't think you'd wake up.."
"Hey.. No, I'm here now, am I not?" Quiff pulled him away from his neck, then planted a solid kiss on Bionic's cold lips.

After a much needed reassurance cuddle between the two, Quiff finally asked what happened while he was out.
"Well.. You shot Lynix with an arrow and potentially gave Doni the perfect window to save him-" Bionic smiled, pulling Quiff closer to him. Quiff blushed, feeling Bionics metallic side of his face kiss the side of his own.
"Wait, then what?" Quiff asked, looking up at Bionic.
Bionic thought back, but Rage luckily stepped into the room just as Bionic came up with nothing.
"Hopefully I'm not interrupting you two, but I can probably explain.. It's good to see Quiffs awake." Rage lent against the doorframe, he had some bandages over his hands due to some of the debris he had to shield Bionic and Quiff from.
"You were there Rage?" Quiff asks, quite confused. "So what happened then?"

"Basically, Bionic healed Liger with a golden apple before coming to fight Lynix- So it gave him resistance to whatever effect the necklace had on him, long enough to help us fight Lynix off."
"That's smart-" Quiff blinked, turning and peppering another kiss onto Bionic's face.
Rage rolled his eyes and continued to speak. "Liger restrained Lynix long enough for Doni to pop a totem of undying in his hands, since he was low on health from your arrow, Quiff, and the necklace popped right off of him with what I'd assume to be half the durability.."
Rage took a deep breath, kept talking. "The necklace's 'Guide' made a reverse tornado in the sky, blocking us and throwing out Liger and Doni from the specific area the 'Guide' and Lynix were in, basically creating a barrier of ash and dirt, as well as little bits of pointy cobblestone."
"Is that where the scratches on your hands came from?" Quiff pointed out the bandages, Rage nodded. "Oh yeah, Doni went into the storm being the absolute psychopath he is, and managed to throw the pendant outside of it since the currents of wind were pushing ash and debris up & over the clouds."
"Oh my god– Doni, is he okay?" Quiff sat up, alarmed.
"I'm not entirely sure myself?" Rage shrugged, looking over to Bionic. "He was here a day or two ago since he needed to rest his wings and back, but–"
"Doni left this morning, I just had to put in some final stitches." Bionic adds, getting up. "We can go see what he's doing though?"
"I'll feel better when I probably see him" Quiff agrees, taking Bionics hand in which he helped Quiff stand from the rather uncomfortable medical bed he was laid on.

Batman was sat at Lynix's feet, purring as the blonde ran his hands through his soft fur.
Looking around, Lynix was embarrassed at how much destruction he caused.
Taking a birch stair from his roof, he placed it by the waterfront and sat with the cat in his arms. He felt like an absolute monster alone from seeing his house in shambles, as well as he still found some explosives that were planted by him, against his will.
Batman stretched, pounced out of Lynix's lap and left, strutting off somewhere.

Lynix sighed and looked at his rippled expression in the clear water, watching as life around him seemingly began to continue thriving, no longer torn down by his selfish actions a few days prior.
Out of the reflection of the lake, Lynix saw a familiarly tall hybrid approach him, looking at his reflection in the water as well.

"Doni.." Lynix murmured, impulsively backing away and avoiding eye contact with Doni. He was already ashamed at how he saw Doni's state, how his wings were bandaged because of him.
"Lynix, I-"
"I know okay? I messed up, you shouldn't be here.." Lynix cut into Doni's sentence, in which Doni's expression turned a bit shocked. "No, Lynix, that's not what I was going to say-"
Doni approached Lynix but he just stepped away, clutching his elbows- genuinely trying to avoid Doni because he thought he would hurt the taller. "I've done enough.. Just go, please.." Lynix muttered, Doni sharply took in how Lynix was probably feeling then.

Doni reached out, pulled Lynix, and hugged him tightly. Lynix trembled, practically breaking down in his arms as Doni nuzzled him.
"Why– Why do this, I hurt you-" Lynix sniffled, hugging Doni's chest. Doni's hands trailed down to his waist, pulling him closely together to himself.
No response from Doni. Lynix continued sobbing for quite some time until he managed to get a grip over his faucet of emotions, the whole time Doni refused to leave his side.

"It's because– I like you, a lot, okay?" Doni bluntly spoke, god that sounded terrible. "I meant--"
"Please Doni, I just know you're saying that to make me feel better– I don't deserve to see you here, I just-"
Doni swallowed his pride then and there, peeling Lynix away just enough so he could see his beautiful blue eyes look at his own.
"I love you. More than a friend Lynix, I don't want to be stupid friends anymore, it's humiliating and making me sick.."
Lynix's eyes shot wide, tearing up again. His voice cracked, but Doni didn't care much for it. "You.. You still love me after what I did?"
"You didn't do anything wrong. That wasn't you Lynix, you need to understand tha-"

Lynix pulled Doni into a kiss, his eyes only initially closing after a few seconds.
By now, Bionic, Rage and Quiff had been looking at them from afar, using a spyglass that Rage had borrowed from Lynix.
Lynix pulled away, completely red. "I'm sorr-"
Doni pulled him into a kiss. Another one, one that actually had purpose to the taller.

The smallers hands embraced his neck, one gliding against his cheek. Almost an addicting feeling, butterflies were swarming Doni's stomach the more he felt Lynix's soft hands against his skin.
They pulled back on agreeing terms this time, Lynix's ocean-blue eyes staring into Doni's. Doni, finally had the gut to speak again; "Please just.. stay with me at my lab for a while, I don't want you out in the open like this.."
"I'd- really like that, actually.." Lynix blushed, pushing a strand of blonde hair out of his face.
