..

In the doorframe stood Kiply. She was beside Bionic who looked beyond pissed off, accompanied by Skiddzie.
Lynix held a low growl as Rage and myself hid behind a wall of furnaces inside of his base. " This ends here Lynix. No more of these stupid attacks." Kiply spoke up, her voice was dry and pang with paranoia. Batman from behind my leg growled, sensing something clearly.
"Yeah, hah.. Sure Kiply! We can say that to make you feel better." Lynix's eye twitched, as his gaze fixated on a wall. Just, a bare wall.. Maybe he was just a bit out of it knowing he was outnumbered.
"She meant it, you sick freak!" Bionic yelled, Skiddzie had to hold him back from lunging at Lynix. Lynix just hummed, he completely let the situation roll over his head despite knowing this would be where it ends.
"She was, but I'm not." Lynix spoke swiftly, he attached a button to the wall, vanished and we heard the sharp hiss of a familiar explosive suddenly.

Instinctively, I shoved rage out of the base with Kiply, Bionic and Skiddzie before I held myself against the doorframe to avoid the blast impacting them.
I felt sharp shards of rocks and debris hit my wings as the TNT exploded, causing me to pretty sharply grit my teeth in pain as I felt my wings go cold. The sound was loud which was a clear indication there were quite a few explosives put down, this was his plan B apparently. I was amazed that this even hurt so much considering I was in creative mode..
Bionic rushed to my aid, pulling me away from the building as I numbly stared at him. I could feel the blood dribble down my back somehow, yet the pain was reasonably small considering how many fragments of Lynix's now destroyed base was probably lodged in my back and wings.
Bionic made a hissing noise. "Sheesh Doni.. Thank you, but this is horrible-"
"H-How bad?" I huffed, my voice trembling automatically.
"Does it hurt?" Bionic avoided my question.
"Not much.. I can manage." I took a deep breath, looking back with a bit of a squeak in my voice.
"Good.. You're gonna need stitches on some parts of your wings soon, but with Lynix running rampid like this, I really can't take care of this right now." Bionic pulled out a gauze and bandages. "Instead of worsening the blood loss.. I'll cover it up for now, hold still."

"Is--- Is  he going to be okay?" Rage impulsively asked, a slight shimmer of worry laid in his voice which made a slight spark in my eyes come back.
"Yeah, he won't be able to fly for a bit.. but considering the situation, I don't think that's our biggest problem-"
"Guys, Lynix is at the center of the server!" Kiply interrupted, holding out her locator map.
"Wait when the hell did you get a locator map-?" Rage blinked. I swear to god we could've used that earlier.
"Quiff gave it to me earlier in a shulker box, he said we might need it.."
"Thank Notch for Quiff then." I laughed, as Bionic tightened the bandages causing my wings to flutter uncomfortably.

...

We swiftly crouched and made our way to spawn, but Bionic ran in with his sword and swung at Lynix instantly. It clipped his arm, exposing the bandage and fully healed skin from where Bionic used his robotic claw on him earlier.
"What the..?" Bionic's eyes widened.
"Tch. Do any of you morons use your brains?" Lynix snapped, his voice distorting wildly. Bionic looked.. horrified, but behind the horrified look he was hurt. Angry. And with that he swung again, causing Lynix to deflect his attack again.

Looking around, there was TNT planted everywhere. All over the nether portal, all of the community buildings, it looked like he was taking the path to my base where the lightning would probably ignite it all.
"Huh.. Kiply, come with me, lets start breaking the TNT while those two duel." Skiddzie motioned for Kiply to follow him, which she nodded as the two crouched and began destroying the TNT around me.

I didn't watch them at all. I felt my eyes fixate on the fight infront of me. Clanging of swords, two netherite weapons fighting to their breaking points.

It.. It felt like the situation all over again. All I saw was Liger, yet I stood there. Same way I am now, I felt myself unable to move as I saw Bionic try to fight Lynix just like how Liger tried to. The whole fight, the adrenaline in Bionics body making him move and swing his sword as frantically as Liger. He was just as scared, twice as angry, just as upset.

SWING.

First it was Quiff, someone who had made Bionics life turn around entirely, with good ideas and showstopping concepts..

CLANK!

Liger.. like a fragment of my life. Brothers from another mother, we bleed the same blood and hold the same hatred for certain beings, despite how annoying he can be, he was a part of me.

SWING!

What if Bionic is next? What am I doing? Bionic, my best friend, No, I can't lose him.. No.. Not now, not ever, I've already failed two people..

I hovered my inventory and grabbed another totem as I un-crouched, but the two were in the midst of their fight. Bionic was cursing like crazy, engraged as tears of oil rushed down his face. I never saw him fully cry like that until now, but he looked crumbled, I can only assume Quiff isn't in a good condition right now.

"I HATE YOU." Bionic's voice pierced through the grunts and crashes of metallic swords. Lynix's expression lowered, his arms lowering from their tensed state, I saw the man I remembered in that moment. The scared blonde who didn't know what he was doing, what he was capable in that sheer moment. I wanted to hug him, apologize, end it all there. But his eyes flickered a brighter green before reverting back to fighting. "You praise me too much." The distorted voice sharply responded, "I'll leave you just as broken as Liger."

As Lynix pulled his sword and was about to jab Bionic most likely where his core heart was, I shoved the totem in his hand and it popped as soon as the sword hit his robotic body, sending him backwards as he crashed into a pile of hay bales.

I breathed hardly as Rage rushed over to the hay bales to check up on Bionic. But a trail of green XP began to flow from where he was engraved in the stacks, and it flew up into the pendant.

"Oh aren't you a smart one, Doni?" I snapped my head around to the familiarly creaky voice. "What are you.."
"When you die, your score resets." Lynix boldly said, the pendant closed after a few brief moments. "You may have saved him.. but I can still drain him."

My eyes darted down as an arrow suddenly impaled Lynix's side.
Lynix ripped it out of his body angrily, spinning his head around to see who the hell challenged him now.
My expression changed from cold to worried.

There stood Quiff, an enchanted bow in hand. He stood as his legs trembled, his face was completely stained with tears and his neck with the handprint had bruised by now, with his tired and cloudy gaze meeting Lynix's.
Bionic eventually regained his strength with the help of Rage putting one of his arms over his own shoulder, both of their eyes widened as a small, hoarse yet strong and powerful voice triumphed over the tension in the area:

"Don't.. Don't you dare touch him."
