[Day two of Parker V. Cater-Smith]
[Journey Micheals]: So Mr. Carter-Smith how old are you?
[Mr. Carter-Smith]: I am twelve at the moment.
[Journey Micheals]: And before Ms. Parker gave you a trail before adopting, she also gave you a roof over you head, food on the table, and more. Is that correct?
[Mr. Carter-Smith]: No.
[Journey Micheals]: What is untrue in that statement?
[Mr. Carter-Micheals]: Everything.
[Journey Micheals]: Really? Because the whole reason why we are here is because of three separate things. Not extra problems. So tell us, why now are you telling us about your child neglect?
[Mr. Cater-Smith]: Ms. Parker said 'if you say anything that would put me in prison I will kill you.'
[Journey Micheals]: And when did Ms. Parker say this to you?
[Mr. Carter-Smith]: September 10th at 9:00 am.
[Journey Micheals]: Interesting how you know the exact time. But too bad that on that day at that time she was at a appointment and hardly saw you that day because you weren't home.
[Mr. Carter-Smith]: *Mumbles* I uh. I mean September 9th 2:43pm.
[Journey Micheals]: Why the sudden change with the date and time? Did you do something when Ms. Parker left for her appointment?
[Mr. Carter-Smith]: I, I didn't mean to I have alot of dates and times in my memory. Sorry.
[Journey Micheals]: I wonder why? Because on September 9th sometime around 2-3 pm a child in a town over was killed. Do you have any connection with that?
[Mr. Carter-Smith]: No. I didn't even know about it.
[Journey Micheals]: Did you watch the News the next morning?
[Mr. Carter-Smith]: Yes.
[Journey Micheals]: Then you know about the murder. It was broadcasted on the news the next day. Is that correct?
[Mr. Carter-Smith]: Y- yes.
[Journey Micheals]: Then why did you lie in court to the jury?
[Mr. Carter-Smith]: I-I uh. I was.. Um.
[Journey Micheals]: Because you were the one to murder that child in the town over. Not only the child but also William Parker. Ms. Parker's son.
[Charles Manning]: Objection.
[Judge Presley]: Overruled.
[Journey Micheals]: I and Ms. Parker know that she did not put the DNA on the axe that ended William's life. So tell us where were you the day of his death?
[Charles Manning] Objection!
[Judge Presley]: Mr. Manning, overruled!
[Charles Manning]: I was. I was at the orphanage.
[Journey Micheals]: That is not what the care taker, Ena Mae, said.
*Ena mae takes the stand*
[Journey Micheals]: Mrs. Mae, do you know where Mr. Cater-Smith was the day that Ms. Parker's son was murdered?
[Ena Mae]: I had no idea where he was exactly, I let him go get something in town for a small gift.
[Journey Micheals]: So you don't know where Mr. Carter-Smith went?
[Ena Mae]: No.
[Journey Micheals]: Thank you for your time Mrs. Mae.
[Ena Mae]: You're Welcome.
