*Ms. Parker's lawyer stands*

[Journey Micheal]: Your honor, my Client Ms. Parker. Pleads not guilty for the following. One count of first degree murder, tampering with evidence, and abuse.

[Judge Presley]: Ms. Parker please take the stand.

*Ms. Parker stands as Ms. Micheal sits down.*

*Charles Manning stands up to question Ms. Parker*

*Ms. Parker does the honesty pledge*

[Charles Manning]: Ms. Parker, we meet again. Now my Client Mr. Carter-Smith says that you had a traumatic past, I hear you lied about your ex abusing you. Is that true?

[Ms. Parker]: No. You- I mean he, my ex did abuse me. He almost killed my child I was caring at the time.

[Charles Manning]: My client also accuses you of not only murdering your own son, put my clients DNA on the evidence, But also be on drugs. Is any of this true?

[Ms. Parker]: No.

[Charles Manning]: Lets start with the beginning shall we? You lived with your ex who shall not be named for privacy reasons, and during that time you tried to commit suicide about 3 times and failed all 3 times.

[Journey Micheal]: Objection.

[Judge Presley]: Overruled.

[Charles Manning]: Ms. Parker, also during this time you conceived a child and didn't tell you ex until you were already weeks along. Why?

[Ms. Parker]: Because I knew how he'd react after I told him. And he did act on how I thought. I have hospital files from the night he beat me.

[Charles Manning]: During your relationship with your ex you took every hit. Why?

[Ms. Parker]: I didn't want to be a burden to anyone. I never wanted to harm anyone. So I kept it to myself.

[Charles Manning]: Do you think you deserve those beatings?

[Journey Micheal]: Objection.

[Judge Presley]: Sustained.

[Journey Micheal]: Your honor, Mr. Manning is asking inappropriate questions about my clients past.

[Charles Manning]: I am only trying to get all the information I can from Ms. Parker, your honor.

[Judge Presley]: Skip along the timeline alittle Mr. Manning.

[Charles Manning]: Continuing, Ms. Parker. You moved out after the accident and was basically homeless for a while until you got your own place. Is that correct?

[Ms. Parker]: Yes.

[Charles Manning]: When your child, William Benjamin Parker. Was born on July 5th of 2016. You were able to hold housing is that correct.

[Ms. Parker]: Yes.

[Charles Manning]: And you loved him?

[Ms. Parker]: Yes. Unconditionally.

[Charles Manning]: Then why were you not watching.Your what? 6-year-old at the time? That morning of his murder.

[Ms. Parker]: I trusted him around the area. I had opened fields that day. You can see from miles away standing on the door step.

[Charles Manning]: Then why was he dead a few minutes later?
