She sat in front of the mirror emotionless. The sharp knife was hidden well in her dupatta. Thoughts of her Ranima and Kunwarsa's reaction seeing her dead kept coming endlessly but she had decided. She could not fathom living as someone's wife for the rest of her life when she had already given her everything to somebody else. She just wished she did not have to do this to Ranima. Her Ranima would be devastated. This was against everything that Ranima had taught her. She always said that living is difficult but braveness resides in that. But she is choosing to run away cowardly. Perhaps she was never meant to be as brave as her Ranima.
She did not even want to fathom how Kunwarsa would feel. She just prayed that he would move on with his life as he had to live not just for himself but for the whole of Rajputana.

"Ajab" his voice brought her out of the trance. He was really here. He was not her imagination. She ran to him not caring about the unkempt state she was in. As she ran to him , her dupatta which was not tucked to the lehenga fell down. But she was not in the state of mind to care about modesty. All she wanted was to reach him.
