The sound of bustling chatter and laughter filled the air as Y/N stepped into the classroom, catching the eye of Hobi, the boy whose sunny disposition could brighten even the dreariest of days. Instantly, he broke into a wide grin, waving at her as if they were the only two people in the room.

"Y/N!" he called, excitement making his voice rise. "Why were you late?"

Y/N sighed loudly, shaking her head in frustration. "Ugh, that son of a devil ran a motorcycle beside me!" She didn't have to elaborate, knowing Hobi would understand the chaos that often accompanied the infamous Jungkook.

Hobi's eyes widened in disbelief, his mouth forming an 'O' shape. "What? Seriously?" But he quickly decided against mentioning Jungkook's notorious reputation, opting instead for a more light-hearted topic.

 "Did you hear about how Minji fell in the cafeteria yesterday? You'd think she'd learn to watch where she's going!" They giggled together, gossiping like best friends as the rest of the class settled in.

Suddenly, the door swung open with a loud bang, and in walked Jungkook, flanked by his two equally notorious friends, Han and Chan. 

The classroom fell silent, all eyes on the trio. Jungkook, with his signature messy hair and an air of casual confidence, didn't seem to notice the attention. 

He strolled in as if it were any other day, his swagger unmistakable.

Mr. Han, their teacher, looked up from his desk with an expression that was half-amused, half-exasperated. "Well, I think the sun rose in the west today," he said sarcastically. "Seeing you here, Jungkook, is such a miracle."

Jungkook blinked, feigning innocence, and offered a shy, "Thank you," in response.

A hush of laughter rippled through the classroom as Mr. Han playfully slapped Jungkook on the back, sending him shuffling to his seat, face beet red.

 In the back of the room, Taehyung, the notorious cold boy, muttered under his breath, "Attention seeker."

Mr. Han cleared his throat, silencing the class. "Alright, everyone, I have an important announcement!" He rubbed his hands together, eliciting murmurs of curiosity. 

"We're going to have a group project. You'll work in groups of four, and I'll assign you yourselves."

Y/N felt a mix of excitement and dread; she loved working on projects but dreaded who would be in her group.

 As Mr. Han began calling out names, her heart raced. "Taehyung...Y/N...Jungkook...and Shin Rae."

Oh no. Y/N's stomach dropped at the mention of Shin Rae, the self-proclaimed queen bee of the school, whose aim was to make everyone around her feel inferior. 

She shot a sideways glance at Jungkook, who seemed blissfully unaware of the chaos his presence could invoke.

As the class erupted into chatter about group dynamics, Hobi leaned closer to Y/N, his previous smile faltering. "Are you okay? Shin Rae is a piece of work..." He gave her a sympathetic look.

Y/N nodded, trying to muster some confidence. "I'll be fine. Besides, we have Taehyung and Jungkook. Hopefully, they'll take the lead, right?"

Hobi raised an eyebrow. "Jungkook? Take the lead? Good luck with that."

With their group assigned, Y/N couldn't help but feel a swirl of nerves. 

This was going to be an interesting mix, combining the chaos of Jungkook, the aloofness of Taehyung, and the drama that was bound to unfold with Shin Rae in the group. 

But alongside those uncertainties, she knew she could count on Hobi's support, and maybe, just maybe, there'd be a silver lining hidden beneath the tension.

As the bell rang, signaling the end of class, Y/N resolved to face the challenge head-on. 

With Hobi by her side and her backpack slung over her shoulder, she stepped out into the hallway full of promise and the idea that maybe this project could lead to unexpected friendships—or at the very least, some unforgettable memories.
