Adrien transformed into Cat Noir and used his staff to launch himself into the air. Moments later, he spotted Ladybug standing on the roof of a nearby building, her worried gaze fixed on her yo-yo. Without hesitation, he joined her.
CN: What's wrong, my lady?
L: I've sent messages to everyone in our team, but I haven't heard back from Rose, Juleka, Ivan, Sabrina, Nathan, or Marc. Felix and Kagami let me know they're in London, and Luka is still training to become the Guardian. But the six of them? No response. I'm afraid something might have happened. They weren't at school today.
CN: "Everyone has their own private lives. Maybe they've got problems to deal with or are just busy. We're the only two crazy enough to put saving Paris above everything else." – He chuckled softly.
L: Chat, this isn't the time for jokes. Even if they're busy, they should have let me know. This silence is troubling.
CN: "Marinette..." He placed his hands gently on her shoulders. "I know you're worried. So many people disappearing at once does seem suspicious, but we need to focus on our mission. We still have most of the team, so we can handle the Akuma. Let's take care of it first, then we'll figure this out. I'm sure they're safe." – He smiled to reassure her.
L: "Thank you, Chat." She took a deep breath and clipped her yo-yo back onto her belt. "But remember: no names. Our enemy could exploit that. Even if we know each other's identities, we need to keep up appearances. The stakes are too high. I stopped your father from fulfilling his wish, which could have killed countless people and forced you into a relationship with Kagami. But luck won't always be on our side."
CN: "I promise, my lady, that I'll only make you laugh in the direst of circumstances." – He gave a theatrical bow.
Cat Noir took Ladybug's hand and kissed it lightly. Ladybug rolled her eyes but chuckled quietly after a moment. Soon, the rest of the team joined them.
L: Listen up, team. Chrystalist is causing chaos again with the help of an Akuma. Even though nine team members are missing, we'll manage. Has anyone seen the Akuma or the victim?
Everyone shook their heads. Ladybug opened her yo-yo and checked the latest updates. Reports indicated mysterious attacks in four locations simultaneously. However, no one had seen the villain themselves. The explosions occurred near the Louvre, Place de la Concorde, the TV Tower, and the Palais de Chaillot.
L: It seems our villain has cloning powers. That would explain how four explosions happened at the same time.
CN: So, what now? They probably want us to split up, making us easier targets.
L: It's possible, but we don't have another choice. We can't fight as one group. Even though Monarch could only grant one power at a time, Chrystalist seems stronger. The explosions suggest they might also have destructive abilities.
CN: You think it's something like Cataclysm?
L: It's possible. We know the Butterfly Miraculous can create powers rivaling other Miraculous. We need to be cautious.
CN: What's your plan?
L: We'll split into four pairs: Monkey King and Cat Noir will handle the Louvre, Polymouse and Rena Rouge will take the TV Tower, Carapace and Vesperia will cover Place de la Concorde, and Pegasus and I will head to the Palais de Chaillot.
L: Stay in constant contact. Be careful. Once the mission is complete, we'll regroup on this rooftop. Good luck!
