Liko's POV:

The next day, I came into school and me and Dot waited patiently on the roundtable for Orla and Mollie to arrive. I was really anxious as to what I should do, but I knew I had to help in some way!

Suddenly, the door opened and Orla walked in. Shortly after, Mollie shuffled in too.

"Good morning Orla and Mollie!" I greeted.

"Good morning Liko!" Orla replied.

It took a few moments, but after that Mollie added, "Good morning..."

The pink haired woman looked really disregulated. She had really dark eye bags and she kept her arms crossed. It felt like there was something she was hiding, but I couldn't figure out what it was...

"Molls, would you like to go on a walk with Liko and Dot?" Orla asked her girlfriend in a quiet tone.

"But we just got here, I still need to get all my things set up just in case someone is ill and in need of help," She replied.

"I think you need the walk more, especially since you've been out if the house recently," The brown haired lady said.

"Fine..." Mollie sighed.

Me and Dot stood up and, while holding hands, led Orla's girlfriend out of the building.

We then started walking along the grass. There was some noise since classes had just started, but it was still quite peaceful.

"So Mollie, how are you?" I asked.

"I'm fine..." The pink haired woman grumbled.

"Well you obviously aren't," Dot said out of nowhere.

"Dot, she might be telling the truth!" I said and clenched my teeth.

"Dot's right, I was lying..." Mollie admitted.

"Really?" I questioned, and then realised I made a big mistake, "I'm sorry Dot..."

"It's fine..." Dot replied and walked ahead of us.

We tried to catch up, but they kept on getting faster and faster, so we gave up. I found a bench so we decided to sit on that and wait for my friend to come back.

"So, what really happened?" I asked.

"I just don't really know how to explain it..." Mollie sighed, "I guess I just sometimes get dark thoughts in my head?"

"Oh, what's that like?" I questioned.

"It's so painful, it makes me feel so out of place in the world that I cut myself off from others for a little while, even the people I care about most," She explained.

"I can't really imagine what that is like and I don't really know if I can do anything to make it go away but, I hope you feel better soon," I said and smiled up at her.

"Thanks," Mollie replied.

She lifted up her sleeve and there were a few scars and marks on her arm. I tried my hardest not to react but I quickly found out she was just checking the time, not about to make some big reveal as to where they came from.

"I think I should go back and speak to Orla, I have a lot I need to say to her," She said and got up from the bench.

"I need to do the same with Dot," I sighed, "See you back in the base!"

"See you then," Mollie replied with a smile on her face.

She walked off and then I got up from the bench. Luckily I didn't need to look too much since Dot was right behind me.

"Hi," They said.

"AHHHHHHHH!" I screamed, falling backwards and onto the floor.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you!" Dot apologised and held out her hand.

"It's fine!" I replied, blushing as they helped me up.

There was some awkward silence...

"I'm sorry I just stormed off like that," She apologised.

"It's fine, I'm sorry I thought you were lying or trying to be rude!" I added.

"Anyway, I heard everything you just said and, you're a really kind and caring person!" Dot complimented, "And... I've looked up to you for a while because of those traits!"

"Really?!" I exclaimed, my face turning red.

"Really!" They smiles.

Dot pulled out a headband from their jacket and slicked back her hair with it. She look completely different now with her now visible freckles and purples eyes, but she was still just as cute as before.

Before I could make a compliment, they then leaned in and kissed me. It was only quick, but it was so magical that it felt like it lasted forever.

We were now both as red as each other and I didn't really know what to say. My mouth was wide open as I wasn't expecting that to happen, so she must have saw that as a mistake and then trembled a little.

"Sorry!" Dot said briskly as they let their hair down and walked off quickly.

"Wait!" I called as soon as I snapped back into reality.

Very quickly they were out of sight. What do I do now?
