☆Chapter 11☆

Liko's POV:

The next day, I arrived in the Brave Olivine and was immediately greeted by a hug from Dot. I hugged her back and then we went into her room.

Last night, I could barely get any sleep because I was thinking of them and the kiss we shared. I wanted to ask them out but I was so scared too in fear of rejection.

But, I knew if I didn't say now she probably wouldn't do it either and we would never get together so I knew I had to be brave.

"So Dot, there's something I wanted to ask you," I said as I sat down.

"What is it?" They questioned.

"Well, we've kissed twice now and I really like you so I was wondering if you want to be my girlfriend?" I asked, my face going red.

Dot put a finger to her chin in thought and then pondered for a little while. She then sighed.

"I want to date you too but, I'm just worried about what others will say," They replied.

"What would be the problem?" I questioned.

"Well, people are pretty homophobic, and you know that first hand from the names you were called," Dot explained.

"Yes but why does it matter what anyone thinks? Why should we care?" I asked.

"I don't know..." They sighed.

There was some silence in the room as I tried to think of a way to convince her it would be fine with us dating. Then, I looked around her room.

"Well, let's take some examples from the posters on your wall!" I said, "That poster there is the famous idol Lisia and she recently started dating Serena, the other half of her Lilycove Idol Duo. Then there is the fashion icon Elesa and she started dating Skyla, a fellow gym leader a few years ago. And lastly we have Iono who streams a lot and in her streams she has calked a lot of people hot with her biggest crush being an actress called Rika!"

"Wow, I never realised a lot of my celebrity crushes were gay too..." Dot gasped.

"So, are you still worried about us getting judged?" I asked.

"I guess not..." She mumbled.

"So, will you date me?" I questioned.

"Yes, yes I do!" They replied.

"Yay, we're girlfriends now!" I exclaimed, picking them up.

Dot laughed nervously as her face went red but then hugged me tightly and gave me a kiss on the cheek. We then bored chanted "Girlfriends!" until suddenly the door opened. I quickly dropped Dot and we stood apart.

"Are you two okay?" Murdock asked.

"Yes, we're good!" I blurted out while blushing.

"Yep, very good!" Dot added, giving a thumbs up while also blushing.

"Okay," Murdock nodded and then shut the door.

We both then breathed a sigh of relief but then quickly realised that our relationship was now a secret...
