☆Chapter 10☆

Liko's POV:

Because it was getting dark, I put on a blue dress and then left the house. I then walked to An's house and when I got there, Roy was already there.

He was very excited so I let him go inside without me and then I waited for Dot. Soon enough, she arrived in a black suit and we both started blushing.

"Wow that suit looks incredible!" I exclaimed.

"Thanks, I've never been comfortable in dresses and my mom said to wear something fancy so yeah," They replied, smiling a little, "I love your dress!"

"Thank you!" I responded, grinning.

I then took her hand and led her into An's house. As soon as we got in, we were shocked to find how loud it was and how many people there were and we both immediately covered our ears and huddled together.

"Let's go to the garden!" I tried to shout over the crowd.

She nodded so we made our way through the sea of people out out into the garden. There were people there too but at least it was more peaceful.

We both sat down on the grass, still huddled together.

"Where's Roy?" Dot asked.

"He's probably making the most out of his first ever party!" I replied.

"I honestly don't understand him or any other people who like loud noises and crowds, it's all just too much," They said.

"I agree but then again, we're all unique," I replied, "Especially me and you compared to all of the others here, we're so much different to them!"

"Yeah..." Dot mumbled.

She then took out a hairband from their pocket and put their hair up. My face went red and I smiled as I was so happy to see her with her hair up again.

"You know, you look so pretty with your hair up," I admitted.

"Really?" They asked.

"Yeah!" I replied, "I like it!"

"Oh umm..." They mumbled and put their hair back down, "Is there anything else you like about me?"

"You're purple eyes, the fact that your hair is pink and purple, your fashion sense but also your personality!" I replied, "I love how kind you are to me, how funny you are and also how willing you are to open up more!"

"Wow..." They muttered, "Are you sure you aren't just pitying me?"

"No, not at all!" I replied, "You're also really cute too!"

"Cute..." They mumbled.

Before she could open her mouth again, I could hear footsteps coming towards us. I looked up to see Ann in a green dress running over to me.

"Liko!" She said as she stopped, "I've been looking everywhere for you!"

"Ummm hi..." I replied.

"Could I quickly chat to you in private please?" Ann asked.

I looked over at Dot and she nodded so I nodded too.

"Sure," I replied.

I stood up and followed Ann over to the over side of the garden.

"So what is this about?" I questioned.

"Well, there's something that I've wanted to ask you for a while..." Ann said.

"Okay," I replied and nodded.

"So, I've been thinking about everything that happened between us in the past and, I've changed now!" She explained, "I'm no longer homophobic and in fact, I'm actually a lesbian and I'm getting diagnosed with ADHD soon!"

"Really?" I asked, not quite believing her.

"Really!" She replied, "So, will you be my girlfriend?"

My jaw dropped and then I felt dizzy, feeling like nothing in the world made sense anymore. But, I knew I had to let her down, even though I didn't want to tell her I actually liked Dot instead.

"I'm sorry Ann but-" I was about to say.

"Liko please be mine!" She begged, "Please, please please!"

"No!" I replied., loud enough to catch the attention of everyone else put in the garden.

"Well if I can't have you, at least I can have this!" She yelled and then pushed herself towards me and kissed me on the lips.

I trued to pull away but she kept on pushing forward. Everyone could see, and especially Dot.

As I finally managed to get her off of me, I then ran back to Dot.

"Dot, I'm so sorry! It isn't what it looks like!" I apologised.

"Don't worry, I heard everything," They replied, "Now let's go!"

We both held hands and then walked towards the door but, Ann was in the way.

"I'm not letting you leave until you say you love me!" Ann yelled, gritting her teeth.

"Well she can't!" Dot yelled back, putting her hair up and furrowing her pink eyebrows

"And why not?" She asked.

"Because she loves me!" Dot answered.

Everyone around us gasped and Ann's frustration was getting the best of her. She growled and then charged towards us.

We both dodged put of the way in time and then both said "Run!" in unison. I picked her up and I ran through the party while holding her in my arms.

Ann started chasing after us but as soon as we were out of the house, we closed the door behind us and put a massive block of wood in front of the door so she couldn't bring the chase out onto the street.

We quickly hurried onto the next street and then started panting from how out of breath both us were, and then started laughing.

"Wow, that was amazing!" I exclaimed, "You were so cool there standing up for me, I didn't know you had that much confidence!"

"It was more just an adrenaline rush and I'm probably going to regret outing myself later but, oh well!" Dot replied, "You were amazing too, carrying me like I was your bride!"

"Well hopefully you will be one day..." I muttered under my breath, "Anyway, I need to go now!"

"Me too," They replied, "One quick kiss before we both go our separate ways?"

"Sure!" I replied.

We both kissed and waved goodbye and went down separate streets. Today was so incredible and crazy and almost like a dream, buy I'm glad it wasn't!
