Outfit of the Day
Violet smiled as she looked at her phone calendar, today was the day she's been waiting for and preparing herself for, today was the cheer competition. She tried her best not to scream as even though Coach Kelly forced her to join cheer all those years ago, she found the joy and the excitement. Her cocky, competitive nature was getting fed into whenever she cheered whether it was at a home game or an away game, this time was different. This time, her and her girls qualified for state nationals and she was going for the gold as she always did, sure they've qualified before but this time it was for state nationals and that's something that hasn't been done for John Quincy's cheer ever because something medical always ended up happening to her when it came to winning big and qualifying. Violet made sure her health was in top shape as she always took her medication on time and she always kept her appointments and she was glad that Shawn and Angela forced her to take care of herself more, she has never been better since they adopted her on her birthday three months ago.
She absolutely didn't know what she was missing out on when it came to having parents and now she doesn't need to have worry about it because she had two amazing parents after so many years and they were actually present in her life. It's funny that Riley and Maya still didn't know nor did she want them to know, well not yet at least because she already knew that Riley was upset with the fact that she's on the cheer team but she doesn't compete because she's only an alternate cheerleader and only gets to preform when someone is sick or injured and that never happens. Violet could only imagine the disappointment that she wasn't able to compete, but that also wasn't Violet's concern as at least she gave her the status of cheerleader. She got out of bed and saw that she had about an hour to meet at the gymnasium and decided to get dressed even though she knew she would have to change all over again. Her eyes scanned the room and smiled when she saw her cats laying in a cuddle puddle, "My beautiful babies" she cooed before walking out of her bedroom to greet Eclipse, who had just been fed by Shawn.
"Morning Gem, today's the day" he greeted to her as he was setting the table for breakfast as Angela was finishing up making the pancakes, "Are you excited" she asked. Violet smiled at them brightly, "I am very excited I finally get to do what I was born to do and that's win all the gold" she told them as she sat at the table. Shawn loved seeing her so excited as it made him proud that she allowed herself to actually be happy, "We will be cheering you guys on the entire time. It'll be like the Bring it On movies but even better cause it's you" he told her making her smirk. "Exactly! We'll be like the Clovers and win" she responded as she watched Angela serve their food which smelt heavenly, "Are you going to need a ride to the gym?" she asked as she sat down in her chair. Violet thought about it and nodded her head, "Yeah just so that I don't have to leave my car unattended at school" she told her as they said a little prayer and began to eat and of course the food was fantastic like always. "We are going to bring Eclipse just in case" Shawn instructed and Violet couldn't help but to agree as she knew Eclipse would make sure she was good to go and wouldn't be putting herself in danger. "You've taken your medicine, Starlight?" Angela asked as she knew that Violet sometimes would forget to take them especially when she's excited about other things and she shook her head, "Not yet, I wanted to eat first" she told her as she finished eating and grabbed her plate putting it in the sink as she grabbed her medicine and took them with a glass of water.
