Violet woke up beaming with excitement as today was her first day of Sophomore Year and she wasn't going to miss making the best impression. She thought about how her fellow classmates were in their Freshmen Year and it made her giggle as she was officially their upperclassman, she couldn't wait to see Riley and Maya's face when they find out. Her eyes shifted to her clock and saw that she had enough time to do get ready and eat, speaking of eat, she could smell breakfast being made and immediately went downstairs, drifting towards the kitchen. "Ace! Angie!" Violet greeted as she knew they wouldn't miss her first day, but she knew they both worked so if that was the case, she wouldn't have been upset if they weren't home for her big day. "Hey Gem, it's your first day! I couldn't be more happier and more proud of you than I already am" Shawn said to her from his position at the table, he allowed Angela to make breakfast for today, speaking of Angela, she smiled brightly at Violet as she was finishing up making pancakes. "Starlight! Shawn is right, we couldn't be more proud of the person that you're becoming. Today is so special and I don't want you to let anyone ruin it" she told her and Violet nodded her head as she made her way to the kitchen, but not before greeting her fur babies, "Hi my babies" she cooed as she reached in two different jars to grab three cat treats and one dog treat.
She made them each do a trick for their treat before washing her hands and sat at the table, "I kinda miss summer vacation, as much as I love school, I love being around you guys more" she told them as she fixed her bed head. "Well Gem, I offered for you to continue online school" Shawn teased and she immediately shook her head, "I need a living breathing person to teach me. I'm tired of teaching myself besides I want to do extracurriculars and what makes it even better is that I get to be with my girls" she told him. As Violet finished her sentence, there was a car horn follow by a doorbell causing her to laugh, "Speaking of my girls, they are here early" she said as she got up to answer the door. "Happy first day Quinn" Luna spoke as Stacy and Cheryl were still getting out of the car before making their way to the door. "Thanks Wonder, hey Cat and Ivy" Violet said and greeted as she allowed them into her home and walked back to her place at the table. "Hey Mr. Hunter. Hey Angela" Cheryl greeted as Stacy waved at them, "Morning" she said with a smile, Luna locked the door behind her and gave her own greeting, "Sup Shawn. Hey Ang". "Hey kiddos" Shawn greeted as Angela started to make plates, "Morning ladies, want breakfast. There's enough to go around" she said and Luna immediately spoke up, "Yes please" as Cheryl and Stacy agreed happily.
