Violet woke up the next day and let out a big yawn as she looked around and had realized she slept in, "Well that's what I get for stargazing all night" she said to herself as she checked her phone and smiled at the message she got from Shawn, "Hey Gem! We miss you and don't worry, Eclipse is doing just fine. Can't wait to see you". She sent back a heart emoji before placing her phone down and got ready for the day, she hoped today was filled with less drama and she hoped that the triangle nonsense actually died on the trip. "I can only keep my silence for so long" she muttered as she did her eyeliner carefully and when she finished, she cleaned up her mess before walking out of her room just to see her classmates standing on the stairs. "Who's that? That one there, who's that?" Zay asked causing Violet to walk over to see what was going on, her eyebrows raised when she saw Riley wearing the same clothes as last night and standing next to a boy. "What's going on?" she asked as her eyes scanned the area and saw Lucas talking to Maya by the fireplace, she quickly averted her eyes as she stood next to Zay to avoid hurting her own feelings once again. "Riley stayed up all night talking to that boy and it upset Lucas and Maya" Farkle explained causing her to nod her head in understanding as her brows furrowed, "Lucas was upset that she was talking to a boy?" she questioned. Upon hearing the question, Zay quickly changed the subject, "Pretty Girl, you look very beautiful today. I absolutely love what you've done with your makeup, it's very autumn looking and the yellow on your nose is very adorable" he said to her with a smile. Violet smiled brightly at the compliment as she tucked her hair behind her ears, "Thank you, Deputy" she responded as her mind flickered to paying attention to him.
He wiped the imaginary sweat from his forehead as he grabbed her hand, "Anytime, now let's go check out the leaves" he told her as he tugged her along down the stairs. She didn't mind him taking the lead as they walked outside and watched the wind blow the trees around, "The trees are so beautiful. Look at those leaves" she told him pointing towards the orange colored leaves that fell from the trees and blowing in the wind. Zay looked over and smiled as the leaves blew around them, "They are beautiful but not as beautiful as you" he told her causing her to smile and push him playfully. "You're so cheesy" she told him as they stopped walking, Zay smiled at her and gently grabbed her chin, "You love that I'm cheesy" he said to her before booping her nose. "And what if I do? Is that a crime?" Violet teased as she leaned up slightly and he followed her lead as he leaned down, pressing his head against hers, "What you trying to do, Pretty Girl?" he asked her. He looked down slightly at her lips before meeting her eyes as he bit his own lips, he wanted to do nothing more than to kiss her and hold her tight. Violet watched his eyes as she closed the distance between them and kissed him gently, wrapping her arms around his neck causing Zay to kiss her immediately and move his hands down to her waist. His hands gripped her waist as he deepened the kiss before he pulled away with a smile, "I really do enjoy kissing you" he told her causing her to hide her face into his chest with a smile.
