Chapter 17

"Make it happen" Enzo said as he slammed the phone down, finally locating the man who took off with his money and put the Feds on his doorstep.

He'd been located in a small English town, the guy was a joke and now he would pay for what he did.

Now, that he had located Daniel Burgess Junior, he decided to check in on the guys watching Phil Burgess.

"What's he up to?" Enzo asked.

"Believe it or not, he was hanging out with his sister's husband" Lonnie told him, he was shocked to see the two drinking at the bar.

"Interesting, he didn't see you did he?"

"Of course not. Are we going to make a move against them?" He was chomping at the bit, he was tired of doing surveillance.

"Patience." Enzo told him unsure of what exactly he wanted to do with Phil,the sister, and her husband, "let's deal with Dan first" he knew he had to be careful that the CPD was still after him.

"Hey, I'm home" Adam tossed the keys on the counter, "where are you guys?"

He found them in Anthony's room, "hey you" Kim said "you've been gone awhile how'd it go?"

"Not good, I was only with her for about twenty minutes. She trashed my dad, it threw me for a loop" Adam told as he took the car from Anthony "fucked with my head, so I stormed out"

"Where have you been? Adam did you see your dad?" She was hoping he would be able to get past this.

"No, you'll never believe who I ran into" he took Anthony in his lap, "I was sitting outside the hotel when he showed up"

She thought it may have been Phil but didn't dare get her hopes up "who?"

"Your brother, we had a few beers and we talked. He actually helped me figure some things out, it was nice"

"I'm glad he could help you, it would mean the world to me if guys became friends" Kim told him, "thank you for trying with him, I know it scares you"

Super short, I know but I'm struggling with this.

Ugh, I hate it. I'm hoping if I leave it for a few days it will help.
