Hank threw the car into park, tossed his CPD placard on the dashboard ignoring the valet yelling at him that he couldn't leave his car in the fire zone.

He ran to the concierge desk and slammed his badge on the counter "I need the room number for Phil Burgess and I need a room key" he yelled, he hoped he was in time that he wouldn't find another body.

"He's in the suite, suite 1123. Take the VIP elevator it only goes to the suites, it will be faster" she told him.

He grabbed the keycard "thanks" he offered before he took off for the elevator, the doors immediately opening as soon as he pushed the button. He had to scan the keycard to get the elevator to begin its ascend to the 11th floor.

He removed his gun from his holster as the doors opened and made his way down the hallway, coming upon the suite Phil was in.

He knocked once, and waited. He slid the card into the slot and watched as the red light switched to green and quietly pushed the door open. The suite looked fine, he could hear voices coming from the massive bathroom, as he got closer he realized it was a radio.

"Phil, you okay?" He called out, he could hear water running.

Phil nearly died when he heard someone call his name, he shut the water off and pulled the robe on, "what the hell?" he said when he saw Hank Voight gun drawn in his bathroom, "oh, no. Is Kim okay?"

Hank slid his gun back in the holster, "Kim's fine, you need to get dressed. You remember Jack Tyler?" Hank asked as he left the bathroom for Phil to get dressed.

"Yea, he's the prick who took my sister" his voice muffled as he pulled the shirt over his head, "why?"

Hank played with the framed photo of little Anthony Ruzek, "well, he's dead. Shot in the back of the head, while working in the yard. So, you, Kim, the kids and Adam's stepmother are all being placed in protective custody" he set the frame down.

"Like hell I am" Phil said as he came out of the bathroom "I'm not going to hide from him"

"Listen" Hank started, "Kim's already fighting Adam on this, you want your sister and niece and nephew safe, right?"

"Of course Hank" he slipped his shoes on.

Hank tossed him the duffel bag, "get packing, you need to go with Kim, help her. Keep her occupied so she isn't worried about Adam, can you do that? You know you owe Adam" he knew he was playing dirty but he didn't care.

"Fine" Phil said as he started packing.

Hank tossed him his cellphone, "call Kim, tell her you're okay and will see her soon"

Kim nearly jumped off the couch when her cell rang, "hello?"

"I'm fine" Phil said, "you need to listen to Adam. I'm packing as we speak" he told her he wasn't happy at all but he knew he needed to do this.

Adam watched as Kim started to cry, "hey, is he okay?" He asked her, she nodded her head yes and Adam felt relieved.

She hung up and went to their bedroom, Adam on her heels. She pulled the closet door open and started selecting clothes "I'm not happy at all about this Adam, we just got Harper back and now I'm having to leave you"

"Hey, I don't like to either, I hate it. Hopefully it won't be too long, and you'll be home before you know it." Adam wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Promise me, you'll be careful Adam, I'm going to be sick with worry the entire time" she knew what he was like, she knew he would take far too many risks. "Listen to Al, please."
