"Excuse me, but I disagree! Organizing a sports event makes much more sense!" Says Thomas while discussing with Jaz, because she prefers an event of craft activities.
Right now, we are in our list room preparing the future events we promise in our campaign. We are discussing doing an open day of sports or other playful activity.
It is obvious that most decided the day of sport, since our school is known for its variety of sports and the impact it had on many athletes who are currently professionals, like my brother.
It started raining outside and so we are all around the small table wrapped in blankets sitting or on the floor or on the couch discussing ideas.
I created this room last year when I made part of a campaign list for the second time. This year as I am president I decided that the list should have a place only for these situations, for us to feel comfortable and welcome.
The director gave me permission to do it on purpose for future years."Alright guys, let's vote." I was standing in front of the television with a mug of tea in my hand and my notebook in the other.
"Whoever votes on the spor-" had not even finished what was going to say, cause everybody but Jaz raised their hand. With a small smile I turn to my friend.
"I'm sorry...." She rolls her eyes and shrugs her shoulders.
"It's fine Bee they don't understand."
"You're the one who doesn't realize that it makes much more sense to be the day of sport, many people will join and-" I raise my hand and shut up Tom.
"That's enough! I think Jaz understood already. Even so, we are not here to break down anyone's opinion. All of them are welcome and none will be wrong. Understood?" Tom shrugs his shoulders.
"Whatever president, it's on you."
"Well, I know. No more arguing. Break people!" I clap my hands. Quickly the group starts talking. I say I need to go to my dorm because I forgot the computer so I take my coat and hurriedly leave the room.
Walking through school alone at night is a little scary, but I force myself to continue the path. I send a message to Amanda to open the bedroom door for me because neither I nor Jaz brought keys.
Suddenly, I feel a presence.
Suddenly I hear a noise that's not the rain. I stop in the middle of the hallway, swallowing dry and slowly looking around everywhere, when someone grabs me by the arm and pulls me into a dark room. I scream loudly but in a few seconds I'm locked and I just find myself knocking on the door so hard that my hands started to shake."Hello?! Who are you? What do you want from me! Open the door!" I hit ten, fifteen, twenty times and no one answers. Tears are starting to run down my face.
"I know you're still there! OPEN THE DOOR"
I'm on my knees. It's very dark here and this room is very small.
Too small...
"Jacob, if you're back there, I swear to God I'm going to kill you! Don't play with me and open the freaking door!" My tears intensify and everything seems to move slowly. I move back until I hit my back on something that falls to the ground. I get scared and yell. I think I'm in the cleaning room.
I sit there, continuing to ask them to open the door, but no one listens to me, or rather, no one wants to hear me. I don't have a network but I turn on the phone flash to see what's around me. I wipe the tears with the back of my hand and stand there, waiting for this game to end.
It doesn't end...
My eyes start to close and I let the sleep win the battle...
