Simplicity is unbelievably annoying
Like the world is mocking my need to make it hard
As if
I am
Not one
Not two
Not three
Not even four
But one hundred souls
All too hard headed
And overworked .
Maybe I am just a drama queen
Stock me up on a stage and call me an actress
Like some viewing pleasure
Something to sit and laugh at
The jester with no hat
Or maybe the mad hatter
Wouldn't that be funny
The mad hatter with no hat
Well then I'd just be the mad
I guess that rather works
In terms of my new contract at least
And I do believe i overheard the queen
"Off with my head!" She announced
As if I weren't the only one there
'Cause everyone else left Wonderland
And I'm stuck here
Headless and scared
I guess I deserve it
After all it seems fair
Or not fair at all
I'm not sure
And I'm still scared
