"Before we go inside, we have some ground rules to set," said Mini.
She, Aru, and Brynne were standing outside the entrance to Walmart, because some essentials that they needed were missing. Usually, Aiden would've been there with them, but he had to help his mom with something, meaning Mini was the only peace-maker in the group at the moment.
"We are only getting things that are ON THE LIST," said Mini, waving the sheet of paper to her sister's faces. "Did you hear me, Aru?"
Aru glared, "Why am I the only one getting called out?"
"Because you're chaos personified, Shah," said Brynne, smirking.
Aru was both honoured and offended by her sister's statement.
"Same goes to you too, Bee," said Mini. "No threatening cashiers or other employees."
Brynne almost pouted, "But that's the best part!"
"Not today," said Mini. She turned to her sisters, determined. "So, are we ready-"
Aru and Brynne ran through the automatic doors and Mini could distinctly hear a crash.
"Oh gods," said Mini, facepalming.
Mini entered the Walmart to the sight of Aru who had unfortunately knocked herself into a line of shopping carts.
"Do you not have eyes, kid?" asked the employee handling the carts that were now sprawled out everywhere.
"Don't talk to my sister like that," said Brynne angrily.
Mini rushed to the scene, and offered a hand to Aru who promptly got up. "We're sorry. We'll be going now." she said as she dragged Brynne and Aru with her.
"What did I just say?" asked Mini, as soon as they were out of earshot.
"That we're only buying things on the list?" asked Aru, a guilty smile on her lips.
She sighed, "Our goal is to leave this place without having an employee kicking us out."
"That was one time!" exclaimed Brynne and Aru in unison.
"One time is too many times," said Mini, turning on her heel. "So will you two behave or not?"
She did not receive an answer.
"We so need this," said Aru, holding up a bag of Swedish fish.
"Just because it's something you need, doesn't mean it's something we need," said Brynne.
"And," said Mini. "It's not on the list."
Aru looked at Mini, looked at the list, then back at Mini.
She smirked, grabbing the list and running off.
"Shah!" yelled Brynne going after her.
Mini sighed, dejected. "How is this ever going to work?"

"We politely ask the three of you to never enter this store ever again." said the manager sternly.
"We are so sorry sir," said Mini, trying to reason with him. "but please, just let us get a few things and-"
"No means no, young lady, plus you and your..." he gave Aru and Brynne a dirty look. "friends have knocked over carts, thrown things off our shelves and threatened our employees!"
"How is it our fault that your employees weren't doing their jobs?" asked Brynne, enraged.
"Yeah!" supported Aru. "Plus the cart guy was so rude-"
"Look I don't want to fight with you three," said the man, running his hand over his bald head as if there were hair on it. "But you have caused us distress and the rules are rules. You are not welcome here anymore."
"But sir-"
"No buts." said the man. "You either leave or we call security. So what's it gonna be, huh?"
Mini sighed, "Let's just go. We're sorry."
The man just shook his head and walked away muttering something like; "Kids these days."
The three of them looked at each other and left.

"Let me guess, you got kicked out. Again." said Kritika Shah, crossing her arms as her daughter and sisters came in the apartment.
"Is there any doubt about it?" grumbled Brynne.
Krithika chuckled, "I remember when I was prohibited from going into the Night Bazaar. Ah, the memories."
"Now I see where Aru gets it from," said Mini staring at Krithika. "I mean, no offense but like-"
"Like mother like daughter," Aru shrugged and took a seat on the couch.
"I can't believe we got banned from all the Walmart's in our area though," said Mini, clearly dejected.
"Who needs Walmart anyway when you have Costco!" said Brynne. "It's way better so we can go there later-"
"NO." said Mini immediately. "The next time I take you two shopping with me will be never and I cannot afford to get kicked out of a Costco right after getting prohibited from going to three Walmart's now!"
"Hey!" wined Aru. "I love Costco!"
"Well now you don't because I'm not letting you go within a twelve mile radius of one," said Mini begrudgingly.
