Kanishka pov--
As we had our coffee, I got a call, I picked it up and it was Trisha.
"hey? kanishka you there?" she asked her voice full of urgency.
"what happened Trisha?" I asked getting up from my chair, deep noticed my frown and got up too.
"what happened to her?" he asked quickly.
"Kanishka I don't know what happened but there someone tried to assault."she waited a moment her voice breaking "Someone tried to assault my Richa, please come fast" she told me
"are you okay?" I asked panicked.
"yeah I'm fine but please come " she said and cut the call.

I told deep about it in the car as we moved towards the place.

When we reach the place, I saw Trisha and her friend Richa on the side of gate.. Richa looked like she cried ans Trisha trying to soothe her.. her two more friends there two concern filled in their eyes.

"Trisha!" Deep cried and went to her, My foot froze at the moment I saw her eyes.. it was.. disappointment.

"Are you okay Babu?" deep asked concerned.
"yes bhaiya, I'm fine" she said nodding her head.

"What happened to Richa" she then turned towards her friend and Richa told us everything
"There was this guy trying to dance with me and when I said no, I grabbed my hand and started dragging me towards his car.. When I tried to stop him he hit me and that's when Trisha came and stop him and slap him in the face, everyone noticed and came to help us and he ran away" she told us.

My fist clenched, How can this MF came in contact with my Trisha.
Deep tried to calm them down but my mind was not taking rest..what if something had happened to her?

We all sat in the car and Trisha soothe her friend, when she looked better.. Trisha agreed on dropping her to her house.. after we drop her we came back to our house.

Deep patted her head and asked her to take rest and they had a small conversation after that deep went to his room.

Trisha looked at me as I was still not looking at her.
"Why are you not talking to me?" she asked in a small voice.
I didn't say anything, my mind full of pictures of her crying if something happened to her.

"Kanishka?"
"I'm tired I'll talk to you tomorrow" saying I went in my room.

After half and hour she unlocked my room and peeked inside.
"What do you want Trisha?"

"uh- I don't know what happened to you.. are you okay?" she asked coming inside and locking the door behind her.
I noticed it.

"I don't want to talk right now"
"why?" she asked taking steps towards me.

I didn't say anything.

"Kanishka..tell me"
still no response
"kanishka?"
nothing

"atleast tell me-"

"Why would you go to a party like that?" I snapped when she asked again.

She blinked.
"What?" She asked confused at my sudden behaviour.

"Why would you go to a party like that?"
"like what?"
she asked confused.

"like that where people are getting assaulted"
her eyebrows furrowed.
"What do you mean by that?" she snapped back.

"You heard me"
"kanishka that's.. what the hell, it's not our mistake their was a creep in there" she defended.

"Alright then" I said as I moved away from her.

She stopped me, with her hands wrapping around mine.
I looked at our enjoined hands and something stirred within me.
I looked at her and saw her looking back with a frown that soon get replaced by a sad expression.

My heart pinched.

"Please.. listen to me" she said her voice breaking again.

I looked at her, searching something in her eyes.
"Are you angry?" she asked her voice breaking.

My stomach. shit stop.
I moved a little closer to remove the tear with my thumb, that fall on her cheek.
"Don't cry" I told her in a whisper.

She looked at me our eyes meeting.
"Are you angry with me" she asked innocently.
"No.. I am concerned Trisha" I told her honestly.

"I'm sorry.. you're right I shouldn't have gone to that part-"
before she could complete I engulfed her into a hug.

A warm, protective hug.
She hands soon wrapped around my back as my hands stuffed her into my chest.
"Don't say anything… it's not your fault..but please from next time don't go to places like that before telling me okay?"
"I told you about it even today " She said.
I smiled.

"But I left you alone today.. I'll never again" I told her.
We hugged each other for a long time, I neber realised how long we stayed like that.

"Should I go now?" she asked breaking me out of my comfort zone.
I nodded slowly still not leaving her.

"umm.. will you leave me?" She asked shyly.

"no" I replied.
"I have to go now.. " she said and I left her.

she looked red from the moment we shared and moved towards saying goodnight.
I hold her hand, she turned and our eyes met.

I went closer pressing my lips on her forehead.. Electricity run through my body at the contact.

"Goodnight sweetheart" I told her.

She looked at me blankly before nodding and going back to her room

I sighed. My brain still mad over the fact that anything could have happened to her but the look on her sad face melted me down and the proximity made my heart race.

I can't deny it anyone. I'm attracted.. highly attracted to her. I like her.
