Hey readers! I just wanted to start this story by saying that none of the characters or places belong to me. They are all part of JRR Tolkien's work! There are multiple direct quotes from his story, but they are all quoted and credit is given within the chapters. There will also be spoilers in this story for the original books and movies...though my writing is largely based on the movies. I wrote this story from the perspective of one of the riders of the Rohirrim. It takes place after the death of Boromir while Legolas, Aragorn and Gimli are hunting for Pippin and Merry....I hope you enjoy! Thanks for reading!
