Sonia was extremely nervous. She looked at herself in the mirror. The clothes that provided her uniform were unique among the other students; the pink hairpin made her blush. Why did she have this thing? Then she saw her uniform: the skirt made her feel exposed, even though her stockings covered her legs; the shoes she was wearing were high heels, which made her feel completely alien; it was as if she was looking at a different person.

Her clothing had a mixture of black and pink, not a bad mix in her opinion, but it made her wonder what Dimitri's friends were thinking. This was her first day, and she wanted to make a good impression. She didn't want to embarrass herself, even though she had already met his friends the day before. Before she left, she made sure to get her glasses; that was one thing she didn't want to forget. She put her glasses on and then took one last look in the mirror. She felt embarrassed. She really wished she could just go into class with her regular clothes, but this was the way things were, she supposed.

She wishes she could talk to her horse, whom she named after her mother, about advice, but she can't do so because she has to get to her class and she doesn't want to be late. Everyone was whispering and looking at her.

"Is she a new student?"asked one of the boys who was around 16 she didn't even pay attention to what he looked like it didn't matter.

"Wow, she's cute. I wonder if she's single," said one of the noble boys with orange hair. She wanted to punch him; such superficial men. Then she looked and saw a bunch of males looking at her. She hated this; she felt like it was a mistake wearing this. She moved as fast as she could to the point where she almost dropped her book that she was holding. She bumped into a girl who didn't look too pleased.

"Watch where you're going," said a brown-haired girl with long brown hair tied back. She had lavender eyes, and her eyes resembled those of Hinata Dimitri's friend. Her face looked arrogant in her demeanor. She wore an academy uniform, which included a long skirt. She was someone that she did not like at all. She could tell instantly that she would not get along with this girl. She looked around the age of 15.

"Sorry," Sonia said apologetically. She tried to leave, but the girl wouldn't let her.

"Watch where you're going, stupid girl. This school is for those who actually deserve to be here." She looked at the girl and felt angry. How dare she act like she owns the place.

""I'm more than qualified to go here. I bet I know more than you do about the subjects you're about to study." Sonia said with confidence. This did not impress the girl; in fact, it made her look down on her even more."

"From the way you walk and the way you speak, you're someone who doesn't know how to talk to people. I guess commoners like you don't know how to have manners." The girl said arrogantly, and she wanted to slap this girl. How dare she.

" I could speak as well as anyone here." Sonia said, standing up for herself.

"Is so, you're a student of the Blue Lions, such a backwards house for such a backwards people." The girl said condescendingly, which angered Sonia, who felt insulted like she was.

"Here, you're a guest. You should treat the people here with respect, girl," Sonia said with clenched teeth, not liking the girl's attitude.

"Know this: I'm the future of the Hyuga clan, Hanabi Hyuga. We're going to be rivals, Sonia Eisner. I will remind you of your place." The girl said as she walked past her.

The arrogance she never hated someone as much as she hated that girl. She couldn't show her new friends that she was angry. No, this was a good day, it had to be.

Hinata was with her friends in the Black Eagles class. The class was going to start soon despite the setbacks because of the crisis with the chalice. Things were returning to normal, or at least what was perceived to be normal. Things were not the same. Her professor found out he had a sister. A lot had happened. Marianne and her professor were having issues, though for what she could see in Marianne's eyes, it was resolved. But how?
