The day after the shy girl squad's victory
Hinata had no idea what she was going to wear as of yesterday. Naruto is her boyfriend, and they were just going to go on lunch; it was their day off, but she had no idea what to wear. She was in a dilemma. She heard a knock. When she opened it, she saw it was none other than Annette and Mercedes.
"Is this a bad time, Hina?" asked Annette, noticing the room was a mess.
"I'm sorry, I just can't find anything to wear. Naruto-kun and I are supposed to be going on our date, and I don't know what to wear. I mean..." Hinata felt foolish having to explain this to her friends from the Blue Lions
e wasn't ready yet, not at this stage of their relationship. She heard him snoring, and he was asleep.
"I love you, Naruto-kun. I wish I could tell you while you're awake, but you always will be loved by me, as long as I live," Hinata said quietly. She felt sleep take her, and she fell asleep dreaming of the future.
2 days since the shy girl squad victory
Dorothea saw how happy Hinata was. She was smiling and laughing, and Dorothea was trying to control her jealousy. Out of all the people, why her? She wanted to be the one to make Hinata smile, to make love to her, and give her the world. What was it about Naruto that made him special? She said she would transfer to the Golden Deer, but she was reluctant to do so due to not wanting to be near Naruto, and it would likely be the end of what little she had with Hinata.
She tried to focus on the lessons that her new professor was teaching the class. It was difficult to concentrate due to her thoughts on how Hinata and Ingrid could love Naruto. What made him so special? It made her angry that Naruto didn't even give her the time of day until 2 days ago. She didn't think that someone sweet and pure like Hinata deserved someone like Naruto or her ex-Ingrid. Her heart clenched seeing Ingrid look at Naruto the way she used to look at her. She knows Ingrid still loves her, but it was difficult for her not to be bitter about their breakup because of her father wanting to use his daughter essentially to assure the family's wealth and not giving any thought to her well-being.
Despite both of them being from noble backgrounds, Hinata and Ingrid have not had an easy life. She would like to make them both smile, but it was something she can never do. Their worlds are too different. She was born in a commoner family, and a bastard at that.
After the bell rang for the period to end, she was about to get her things when Hinata approached her with her sweet smile that she had grown to adore, even on her worst days.
"Dorothea San, are you all right?" Hinata asked sweetly. Oh, she could kiss her on the lips for being so caring, but she held back.
"I'm fine, I'm just tired." Dorothea lied, hoping that Hinata's eyes wouldn't see through it.
"I'm pretty sure he'll be satisfied with anything you wear, Hina," Mercedes said reassuringly. It didn't help her feel better, though; she had no idea what to wear. The girls shut the door to give the three of them privacy. Mercedes noticed a plain-looking dress. She picked it up and inspected it. Hinata was embarrassed looking at it. It was so plain. She only brought it because it was comfortable and something to wear on a casual day off when she didn't want to wear the academy uniform.
"I think this would work fine." Mercedes said, which caused Hinata to blink.
"I can't wear this, it's so plain. Naruto Kun would think I'm just plain looking with this on." Hinata said. Mercedes shook her head.
"Hina, I think Naruto would find you beautiful in anything you wear." Annette said, trying to cheer her up regarding her dress, the only one that she had brought from her homeland.
