What Happened To Us?

JCS POV

Lia kissed me on the cheek. "I love you Jc." She said. I looked into her beautiful eyes.
"I love you too, Lia." I said, holding her hand.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
I suddenly clicked snooze on my phone. Ughhhhh it's so early.
Another dream about Lia. Man, I need to stop this. No matter how many times I say it to myself, I can't accept it. SHE'S OVER YOU, JC! But I can't get over her.

LIAS POV

"So...what did happen between you and Jc?" Lauren asked me.
"I don't wanna talk about it." I said. I still can't believe I let him go. He is probably so over me. I'm just a stupid teenager who made a mistake and I can't make up for it.
I was on a sleepover with Lauren and the rest of our squad.
"Soooo Jc is single..." Andrea said with a wink. I playfully punched her. "Don't even think about it." I said. We all started laughing.
"Anyway, I'm actually going on a date tomorrow." I said.
"OH MY GOSH WHO?!" They all yelled as the scooted closer to me.
"Some guy who asked me yesterday at the mall." I said.
"Was he cute?" Andrea asked.
"Oh yes." I said with a smile. 'Not as cute as Jc.' A tiny voice in my head said.
"His name?" Arden asked.
"Zac. We are gonna meet up tomorrow at lunch time in Frenchie's Cafe. Just a sec guys, I need to pee." I said as I went to the bathroom.

LAURENS POV

As soon as Lia left I said, "She cannot date someone else. Her and Jc were made for each other!"
"I know right!" Andrea said.
"I have an idea." Arden said, with a sneaky smile.
"Spill!" Lauren said.
"What if Jc "accidentally" made an appearance at their date tomorrow." Arden said.
"Yes! They haven't seen each other since they broke up! When they see each other they'll realize how much they missed each other!" Andrea said.

~the next day~

JCS POV

"Soo Arden asked you on a date?" Kian asked me, confused.
"Yeah. I don't know why, we've barely spoken to each other." I said.
"Well at least you're over Lia." Kian said.
"Yeah." I lied. "But I still can't believe she broke up with me." I said, honestly this time.
"Forget about her dude! Look on the bright side, you banged her!" Kian said, putting his hand up for a high five. Instead I just walked away, angry. Nobody gets that we were actually in love.... or at least I was.
I started getting ready to see Arden. Then I pennyboarded to Frenchie's Cafe. When I walked in I saw the back of a girls head. She had beautiful long blonde hair. Just like Lia. STOP THINKING ABOUT HER JC! I realized Arden was sitting at a table next to the Lia look alike. Great. Just when I wanted to forget about her on a date. I sat down.
"Hi Arden!" I said.
"Hey Jc! Thanks for coming." She said with a smile. Man this is gonna be awkward, dating one of Lia's best friends.

LIAS POV

I was at Frenchie's Cafe listening to Zac ramble about global warming. Ugh, Jc's conversations were always interesting. All of a sudden I could have sworn I heard Jc's voice say, "Hi Arden!"
Ugh, just me imagining again.
"Hey Jc!" I heard Arden's voice say.
Oh my gosh. I looked to my left and saw him. Jc was sitting there. I hadn't seen him for 2 months. My heart started beating rapidly. His awesome curly hair, his puppy dog eyes, his smile. I missed it all. Wait...was he on a date with one of my closest friends?
"Lia?" Zac asked me, waking me up from my thoughts.
"Yeah, I'm listening." I lied.
He started rambling about how ice caps were melting. I looked over at Jc again, trying to be subtle. And he was looking at me. He looked amazed to actually see me. We didn't smile, but I could tell we were both savoring looking into each other's eyes.
I wanted to talk to him. To tell him that I take it all back, that I take all the things I've said and done back.
But it was clearly too late. He was on a date.
"Lia?" Zac asked, again.
"Oh yeah, sorry." I said, looking back at Zac.
"So do you know what you're ordering?" I asked, pretending that I had no idea that the person I was madly in love with was on the table next to us.
"The spaghetti with mushrooms." He said.
I didn't even realise I was staring at Jc again.
"Why do you keep staring at him?" Zac asked me, looking angry.
"Who?" I asked, looking at Zac again, playing dumb.
"Nevermind." He said.
We ordered food, got our food, and before I knew it, I was staring at Jc again. Not in the dreamy way, in the 'oh my gosh it's actually him!' Way.
"You know what?!" Zac suddenly shouted. Suddenly he wiped all the food off the table, the plates smashed on the floor.
"I ASKED YOU ON A DATE! I BOOKED US IN AT THIS RESTAURANT! I GAVE YOU FLOWERS! AND ALL YOU DO IS STARE AT THE GUY NEXT TO US! BI**CH!" Zac shouted. My heart started beating like mad. Then he clenched his fist and it came hurdling towards me. All I could do was close my eyes and put my arms in front if my face. Then I realised he hadn't punched me yet. I opened my eyes and saw Jc holding Zac's arm. It was inches away from my face.
"GET AWAY FROM HER!" Jc shouted.
Before I knew what was happening, Jc started punching him like mad.
"DO NOT CALL HER A BI**CH!" Jc shouted, angrily fighting Zac.
"Jc! Stop!" I said. He didn't stop. I ran up to them and grabbed Jc's muscly arm. I looked into his eyes.
"Stop." I said softly. Then he stopped.
Zac was bleeding and beaten up, lying on the floor. Arden looked shocked. Then I saw Jc's face change from looking angry to 'what did I just do?'
"I-I need to go." Jc said, looking like he was going to cry from guilt. Then he ran out of the cafe.

A/N: ok. Before you kill me, they broke up in real life. And I said I would write about their relationship...but don't worry! I'm gonna write about them getting back together! So yeah. Haha
