JCS POV

Fancyish outfit? Check.
Roses? Check.
Nice hair? Check.
Nice breath- I'll brush my teeth.
Check!
Ready for dinner at Lia's house. I had a bouquet of roses for Lia and her mom and a rose for each of her little sisters.
I drove to Lia's house and rang the door bell.
"Hey!" Lia said as she hugged me. She had a light blue dress that went just below her knees with a jacket over her.
"Hi!" I said.
"Jc!" Mrs. Johnson said as she came out of the kitchen and hugged me.
"Come in, come in!" She said. I entered the house and Lia took me to the dining room.
"Justin." Lia's dad said as he put down his newspaper and got up from the dining table.
"Hello, Sir." I said awkwardly. I was nervous. This man could determine my future with Lia. Then I panicked and went in for a hug. Then I awkwardly went back and stuck my hand out for a hand shake. He shook it and looked at me like I was crazy. Shoot.
"Have a seat, Jc!" Mrs. Johnson said as she came into the dining room with a tray of Turkey. It looked delicious.
Lia sat down and I sat next to her.
"Kids!" Her mom shouted. Then 3 girls ran down the stairs.
"Ooh! I almost forgot, I have roses!" I said. I gave Lia her bouquet, her mom her bouquet, and each little sister a rose.
Then we ate dinner. And I actually hit it off with the dad! We were talking the whole time.
"And taxes these days!" I said.
"Oh, don't get me started!" The dad responded.
"Like, can I get a pair of shoes for the actual price, thank you?"
"Hahaha, exactly!"
I didn't know anything about taxes. I just said things I knew he would like, like: "Did you see the size of that fish that that French man caught?" Or "I just hate how some girls dress these days. I love how Lia dresses appropriately." Yep, I'm awesome.
After dinner, I said goodbye. I didn't have one of those awkward talks with the dad and everyone liked me. :D
