I woke up at 6 the next morning, got ready, made myself a sandwich for school with the last ingredients and left. I got to school twenty minutes earlier.

The rest of the day passed by fast, at lunch break I sat at my usual spot and ate my sandwich. During PE The teacher made us practice soccer and I sucked. A girl made me trip and I fell on the ground and scraped my hands and knees. I got sent to the nurse and missed the rest of pe. I changed into my clothes and went to English before the bell rang. I knocked on the door and she opened it for me.

"You are early, don't you have a class?"

"I had PE, but I fell, and the teacher let me go earlier"

"Are you okay?" She asked frowning and I showed her my hands. "ouch"

"Yeah" I handed her the homework assignment and sat at my desk.

"You didn't have to do it"

"I don't want to be left behind" She nodded, and the bell rang. I tried to pay attention through the entire class, but it was a struggle since I was slept deprived and tired from pe. The bell rang and the class emptied in seconds. I stayed in my seat, she closed the door and pulled a chair next to my desk.

I took my homework out and started solving some math exercises while she looked over my shoulder. Her gaze was making me nervous. I started tapping my foot and fidgeting with my pen. She put her hand over mine to stop, and I turned to look at her.

"I uh... I'm sorry" I said looking down.

"Do you want me to move? Do I make you uncomfortable?"

"No, no it's fine I just... uh... it's nothing" She moved her chair a little further and smiled at me. I went on with my homework. I finished with math and then started writing the essay she gave us for homework. She read it as I wrote it and I felt like she was judging me.

"Uh, could you please wait till I'm done to read it?"

"Oh, ok" She went to her desk and sat on her phone. The bell rang before I could finish, I packed up my stuff and she gave me a ride to work.

My shift was boring and to my disappointment Ms. Thompson didn't come by again. I asked my boss to give me the night shift on Saturday so I could sleep a little and he agreed.

On Saturday I woke up at 12.3, cleaned up a little, got dressed and walked to work. I didn't have time to eat anything and there wasn't any food at home. I called my mum, and she told me she'll bring some today. My shift was boring. My entire life felt dull and pointless as if I'm going in loops, which isn't absurd, considering that I'm doing the same things over and over again.

When I was finally finished, I went to the park instead of going home, I was hoping to see Ms. Thompson again. I sat under the same tree and put on some music while I looked at the moon. I wish staring at the moon with music on was a job. The night was chilly, and I was only wearing a t-shirt, but it didn't matter, nothing mattered.

I didn't see Ms. Thompson.

On Sunday I did my homework and went to the park afterwards, Ms. Thompson didn't come by once again.

The next week was boring as hell, but I was excited for the weekend because my best friend is coming back and we will go out. My mum was barely at home and to be honest I wasn't missing her. I was able to keep up with both school and work. I fought with Emily a couple times and a few other kids bothered me too, but nothing out of the ordinary. Ms. Thompson called me a few times after class to ask me to participate more, buy I couldn't, I felt anxious just thinking about it.

Ms. Thompson's POV

"Come on sweetie, you are going to be late for work." My mum said, turning on the lights in my room.
