The next morning we both woke up to my alarm clock. I was tired and wanted to sleep more.

"Can we skip breakfast?" Izzy mumbled.

"I can't, you can, though."

She got up the same time I did.

"Today you and your classmates are going to have kind of a free day in Paris. You'll be allowed to roam around for a couple of hours."

"That sounds risky." I shrugged.

"Obviously not all around Paris, we'll be going to a more central area and you'll be given contact numbers for us teachers, in case anything happens."

"You'll be giving your number to a bunch of students?"

"Not our actual numbers, we got second Sim cards just for the trip." She nodded.

I took my clothes and went to get dressed in the bathroom. I wore a black pair of pants, a white t-shirt, a white shirt and a black knitted sweater on top. I got out and slipped my Doctor Martens Chelsea boots.

Isabella was wearing a pair of loose blue jeans, white converse sneakers and a white sweater.

"Take mine." I said as she made a move to wear her jacket.

"It's fine."

"Don't do this again, you remember how cold it was yesterday." I said firmly and put my scarf and beanie in my tote bag.

I watched as she wore my jacket. It was a bit big on her, but it was much better than her jacket, which barely fit her.

"Ready?" I asked and she nodded. She was really quiet today. She didn't even look at me which I suspect has to do with yesterday's events. "Are you okay?" She nodded again.

We went to breakfast. I sat the rest with the teachers and we discussed exactly how we were going to do this. Letting a bunch of 17 year Olds roam around a big city didn't feel like a good idea to me. At least we had their numbers and they were about to have ours, so we could always contact them and track them down if they got lost.

Once we finished with breakfast we gathered outside the hotel and got on the bus. We gave each student a piece of paper with our numbers and advised them on where to go.

Once we got off the bus, one of the other teachers stayed at the Café and let students know that he will be there if they needed him. I had already called Ann and she was waiting for me near the meeting point. We had 4 free hours in Paris.

I couldn't help but wonder what Isabella will be doing this entire time. I thought about asking her but judging by our previous conversations, she wasn't in the mood to chat.

Ann was waiting for me right outside the bus. I got of and she hugged me. Isabella got out right after.

"Hey." I told her to catch her attention. "If you need anything feel free to text me okay?"

"Okay." She gave me a small smile and walked away.

Ann pulled me away from the students.

"Who is she? And why is she wearing your jacket?"

"It's a long story." I sighed.

"We've got time."

We got a coffee and I told her about Isabella as we walked around.

"So let me get this straight. You liked her, you flirted, found out she's your student and now you are sharing a room and she's wearing your jacket." I sighed. "Jesus Addie. That's too complicated."
