"They finally animated his death," Reya cried, slumping against her chair. "I love hawks but he did not have to do that. Ugh..."
you glanced around, making sure no one was looking as your friend bawled about a fictional character's death.
"Look!" she shoved her phone right in front of your face. Slurping your last bit of cold soba, you leaned back and watched the video playing on her screen.
You had absolutely no idea what you were looking at.
"What's that villain's name again?" you asked after watching him die. You would have been sad if you knew the character more.
"Twice! well, that's his villain name." Reya explained, placing her phone back on the table. "His real name is Bubaigawara Jin."
Reya has been obsessed with this anime since you first met her. You were both thirteen at the time but were turning seventeen soon. There was not a moment where she didn't bring up the show during conversations. On top of that, she has been trying to convince you to watch it for the longest time. You watched the first three seasons, enjoyed it, and forgot to continue.
"Girl, you've got to catch up! and read the manga too. It's getting crazy." As the two of you paid for your food and left the place, Reya continued to tell you about the new season and the recent manga chapters. Apparently it has just been revealed who the U.A. traitor was. That "Can't stop twinkling" boy.
By now, you knew almost all of the characters' names and only remembered a few of their quirks. You were a bit confused about the plot, so you didn't really bother keeping up with it. Anyway, it didn't matter since Reya would tell you everything.
"Promise me you'll start season four later," Reya hooked her arm around yours. "Since it's Saturday tomorrow, you can binge the whole thing. and when you're done, call me so we can talk about it."
"Yes yes, i will." You promise, lazily nodding your head. You eventually had to part ways with her and say your goodbyes.
Once you got on your bus, you plugged in your earphones and started watching the first episode of season four.

4:22 a.m.
Letting out a yawn, you closed your eyes and listened to the song playing after the episode ended. You just finished the sixteenth episode, and you didn't think you could watch anymore.
I've been binging for over five hours...
Switching your phone off, you toss it to the side, a soft thump breaking the silence as it landed on your mattress. Pulling the blanket over yourself, you turned away from your phone and fell asleep almost instantly.
