You stayed seated on the cold concrete floor, unable to go anywhere with the sword still pinning your hand onto the ground.

Akane's body had long disappeared, quite literally glitching out of existence. The only thing that remained was her blood and what was left of her quirk.

You couldn't help but wonder if that happens to every player who dies. Where do they go after this? Back to their own world? But didn't the system say dying here meant dying in reality? So then what happens to your body-

"Found her!" A voice snapped you out of your thoughts.

A sense of relief washed over you when you spotted Twice running through the opened door. Another Twice followed him, then another, and another. Soon enough, you were surrounded by at least ten Twices.

"What are you waiting for?!" Twice yelled at Twice. "Pull the damn thing out!"

"Why do I have to do it?!"

"You're the closest to her."

"Nuh-uh!"

"She's losing too much blood, gross."

"Hey, [Y/n]! You okay!?"

Unsure of which one asked the question, you squinted at a random clone and shook your head. "Everything hurts." Your injuries continued to bleed, the throbbing in your hand was the only thing keeping you awake.

"I've got it!"

You were about to ask what he meant when the blade piercing through your hand got yanked out, causing you to scream at the sudden pain. "What the fuck, Twice!" you pulled your hand off the ground and held it tightly against your chest. Blood soaked into your shirt, making it cling uncomfortably to your skin.

"Don't be a baby," his shoulders slumped. "I'm sorry."

The clone next to him lifted an arm and tore the fabric of his suit off. He kneeled in front of you, gently taking your injured hand into his. "I'll wrap it up for ya!" He carefully and steadily wrapped the soft fabric around the wound, making sure it was snug but not overly tight.

"Thank you," you sighed. Even though the cloth didn't do much to stop the bleeding or ease the pain, it was a relief not to see the gaping wound in your palm anymore. Since your other wounds weren't as serious, you decided to just wipe the blood off and leave it alone.

Another clone helped you up, allowing you to lean against him for support as you made your way down back down and out of the building. The moment you stepped out, you realised how empty the streets were compared to before.

Twice's clones walked in a circle around you, protecting you from any lingering enemy who tried to attack. Though it didn't take long before the clones disappeared from taking too much damage.
