The cold water felt refreshing against your face.
You had woken up not too long ago and packed your pillow back into your bag before leaving. You walked back to the city and found a restroom to wash your face and rinse your mouth.
Once you were done making yourself look more presentable, you unwillingly took a sniff of your shirt and cringed.
I smell like horse shit.
You left the restroom and made a quick stop at seven-eleven to buy two sandwiches for breakfast. That's four dollars and thirty cents out of your bank account.
Since it was Sunday, the streets were busy and so you headed to a park and hid behind a boulder to finish your sandwich. You sat on the soft grass and leaned back against the boulder, its shade hiding you from the glare of the sun.
"System." Your voice was muffled as you chewed on your sandwich. "How long more until my quirk changes?"

"Nothing changed." Finishing your last bite of sandwich, you crumpled up the plastic wrapper, slung your bag around your shoulder, and stood up from the ground. "Thank you," the screen disappeared.
Leaving the shade, you made your way back onto the path winding down the park. You tossed the balled-up plastic into a bin and pulled your phone out to look for directions to U.A.
"Uhm, hello." A frail voice spoke from beside you as an elderly man appeared, looking at least eighty years old.
Looking up from your phone, you stared at the man next to you, "hello..?"
"I'm so sorry for being nosy," he held his hand out, money in between his thumb and index finger. "You just looked so troubled, I felt the need to do something."
D...Does he think I'm homeless?!
He's not wrong though.
"O-Oh!"
"Here, it's not much but..." the man gave you a closed eye smile. "Hopefully its enough for you to buy yourself some new clothes and shoes."
Bending at your waist, you gave the man a deep bow when you accepted his money. "Thank you so much!"
