You limped the rest of the way back to the abandoned house where Toga and Spinner were in. Your face was flushed as you wiped the remaining tears away, sniffling to yourself. Your heavy heart was a reminder of what you had just done.

You fanned your face to get rid of the redness and gave yourself some time to calm down before entering the house.

"Where's Toga?" You looked around the small room, only finding Spinner in the corner. "Out," his reply was simple. Not bothering to give you a glance, his eyes stayed glued to his phone, fingers tapping furiously.

"What are you playing?" You took a seat on the floor next to him, leaning back against the wall as you watched him play.

"Brawl stars," he said. "Do you play?"

"Uh, I've heard of it. But no."

"You don't game?"

"I do... but er..."

"What games?"

Is he going to laugh at me if I tell him...

Finishing the game, Spinner finally looks up from the screen to look at you.

"I like playing Roblox and Stumble Guys." Reya was the one who introduced them to me.

"I like Stumble Guys too," he nodded. "I've never played Roblox before though."

"It's actually fun, wanna play it together some time?" You rarely got to spend time with Spinner, and you wanted to get to know him better since he mostly keeps to himself.

"We can play it now," you watch as he clicked into the Appstore and downloaded the game.

"Uhm, Dabi has my phone, it also has no battery..." I've never gone so long without my phone before. I need something to distract me.

"Get it back from him," Spinner suggested. "I have a portable charger with me, I can lend it to you."

You spent the next two hours watching Spinner play different games on his phone. The bright sky turned dark once again as thunder started to disrupt the silence. Soon enough, rain started to fall, getting heavier as the wind howls got louder. You stared out the window, watching the trees outside sway violently while water droplets slammed against the glass, blurring the view.

I wonder how Shigaraki and the others are holding up.

The front door swings open, allowing the cold air to rush in. Spinner looks up from his phone, frowning at his comrade. The door slams shut again as Dabi entered, water was dripping down his black hair, his clothes were somewhat dry thanks to the coat he had on, though it was completely soaked.

Dabi, not wanting to waste his time fighting Machia, chose to search for new recruits instead. Which was how he found you. And although he claims that he is trying to find these 'recruits', you were pretty sure he was just burning anyone he bumps into. Like what he did with you. Yes, you're still salty about that.
