You had been waiting for a response from Robby like a desperate girl, and you've rarely been that way. All school day you've been glancing on your screen to see an email notification, to no avail.
Why was Robby Keene occupying every space in your mind? You didn't allow that to happen, so why was he?
"Didn't answer yet?" Moon asked, noticing you staring upset at your phone.
"No, I miss him so much," you frowned.
"She's said that so many times lately..." Miles whispered to Moon, who giggled.
"It's nice that she's very eager to see him, you two are dating, right?" She questioned, and you flushed red from the innocent question.
"No..." you quietly reply. "I just wanna see him, I hope he's okay."
"Didn't he apparently push Miguel off the balcony? I don't think no one has sympathy for that guy." Yasmine spoke. Yes, you were sitting with her, Moon, and Miyagi-Do. You were starting to become acquainted with her again.
"I do," you spoke. "He made me feel so happy, I just truly hope he's safe."
"You speak of him so highly, Colly, you think you're just friends?" Yasmine questioned. Yasmine initially meant that as a joke, but seeing the table going slightly quiet, she knew there was a chance she was somehow right. She found it unbelievable.
"Yeah, just friends," you nod. But really, you pondered over her question.
You two had to be, right? You never heard him say anything about it...and he said no lies that day. He wouldn't lie to you about something so serious.
"Hey!" You girls, and Miles, turned to see Demetri holding something huge hiding under a sheet. "You ready to rock...our earth science presentation?" He walked around the table and set his supposed presentation near you.
"I'm ready to go back to a world where we don't have to talk on a regular basis." Yasmine sassed, as they had recently became project partners. Besides that, and the fact Moon wanted to sit with you guys, she wouldn't have sat in this table.
"Hey, my popularity's on the rise, while yours is steadily declining," reminded Demetri. And he was right, after the front wedgie video by Aisha, she's been getting her own medicine. "But maybe we can meet in the middle, like a sexual Venn diagram."
As Yasmine's face contorted in disgust, Miles snickered while you and Moon laugh.
