If Sam didn't know the ponytail guy, only the adults did. And that enough made everyone spiral into trying to figure it out. Obviously, everyone had agreed to eavesdropping and watching the conversation between the Sensei's and Cobra Kai's. Who wouldn't? Especially when no one's ever seen the ponytail guy involved in the ordeal.

"My guess is that it's some guy wanting to make a deal for the All Valley." Hawk suggests.

"You're a bit crazed." Demetri replies.

"And obviously Johnny and Daniel would say no, right?" Miles questioned, and nervously looked at everyone else listening into the conversation.

"My guess is for all of you to shut up." You snapped, wanting to listen.

"Woah, someone's moody." Hawk teased you, but you slapped his shoulder. "Geez, sorry," he whispered.

"Whatever." You whispered back playfully.

"I don't know what padded room you crawled out of, Silver, or what twisted game you two are playing, but if you don't get off my property right now, I swear to God..." Daniel angrily said.

"Your dad is pissed, who is that guy?" Miguel asked Sam in concern.

"I have no idea," she replied.

"He looks like a Highlander." Bert commented.

"The Highlander. There can be only one." Nate corrected.

"I heard the name Silver. Just like that ponytail." Miles recalls, and you heard Hawk stifle a snicker.

"Okay." Silver calmly said. "Okay, I tried. We'll still hold our students to a moratorium on fighting before the tournament, for what it's worth. Provided, of course, you do the same." He pointed at Daniel with a grin so sinister.

"Just remember our deal." Kreese spoke. "If Cobra Kai wins the All Valley, you two are done teaching. For good."

"That's not gonna happen, 'cause you're not gonna win." Daniel said determinedly. "Now get the hell out of here."

"Surely we aren't shutting down, right?" You asked as the two old men walked out. "Daniel and Johnny are too stubborn with each other, why would they listen to a petty bet with Kreese?"

"They take bets seriously in karate." Miguel answers. "I don't know why."

"For what it's worth now, the stakes are higher." Miles summed. "There's yet another old guy teaching kids how to be psychos."
