Being friends with both Sam and Aisha meant you could get both opinions from them about Robby. Of course you told the two girls (separately) about you and Robby's banters. They seemed to be more excited and happy for you than Yasmine and Moon ever could...or would.
"Wait, so you and Robby are definitely having a thing going on." Aisha laughed, you were on face time together with your new MacBook.
You shook your head, "What? No. Him and those dumb green eyes, I would never like him."
You could see Aisha raise her eyebrow towards you, "Yeah, because I'm sure you don't. Anyway, doesn't your shift start soon?"
"No? It starts in thirty," you glance at the clock, then your eyes widen. You stand up. "Makes me realize, I gotta pick up Robby." You patted down your new shirt for work and checked yourself near your vanity. You could hear Aisha laugh.
"Okay, you give Robby rides to work and you still say you two don't have a thing going on? Collymore, you're being stupid."
You give her a side eye. "It's useless arguing with you. I'm dropping that Robby topic. Do you have your Cobra Kai thing going on?" You ask her. You knew she recently joined that karate dojo. You didn't have time to do that with your recent apprenticeship, and the Daniel LaRusso training.
"Shit, I don't know. I'll go text Miguel if we do." Aisha replied.
"Okay, you do that. I gotta go now, love you Aish." You blow her a kiss from the screen.
"Love you too, Y/N," Aisha genuinely smiled as she hung up. You shut your laptop and charged it by your desk before speeding out your front door of your empty house.
You didn't know why you even offered Robby rides to the dealership in the first place. That fool made you buy milkshakes before your shifts that he made you pay for (you paid first and wouldn't let him pay at all)-whilst arguing which radio channel to turn on. By the time you both clocked in for work, the milkshakes were finished.
Though this time you both knew there was something important going on. Daniel would be teaching you guys his kata stuff.
In all honesty, you were open to learning something new. You did nothing all your life in high school, and opted to somehow make it into college through your dad. From there, you planned to be a pilot just like him. That's only Plan B, Plan A was to completely wing everything.
"Hi Mr. LaRusso," you both greeted the man-or new sensei as you threw away the empty plastic milkshake cups in the trash.
"Hey, guys," Daniel smiles. "Ready for today's trainings?" He asked.
You take a quick breath and look at Robby for his response. He seemed ready to learn, to your surprise. How much did he really want to piss of his dad? You would ask who was his biological dad due to your plain nosiness, but you deemed it too vulnerable given you two's friendship.
