You walked into the dojo grumpily with Miles searching for Sam. You have always been grumpy, but today you've been more snappy because of Cobra Kai. Hawk didn't deserve the torment.
"Woah, what happened?" Demetri asked you, he was hanging by the punching bag.
"Shitty Cobra Kai, is Hawk even okay?" You asked back. "You're his closest friend, and he doesn't answer my texts often if I tried." He was a horrible texter.
"Didn't answer my calls this morning either," he responded.
You groaned. "Okay, whatever, hold this punching bag for me." You stood still into a ready position. Demetri warily held it as you started to punch. "I wanted to see if letting out your anger on karate makes you perform better," you huffed.
Demetri looked over to Miles and Sam conversing, hoping his eyes will tell he needs some emotional support. Miles noticed it and grew a grin.
"What?" Sam asked. "Is something on my face?"
"No, Y/N's just punching aggressively and Demetri has to hold the bag." Miles answered in amusement.
"I feel bad for her," Sam frowned. "She tries to cover up her feelings about Robby by blatantly ignoring them. Their bond bled deep before the school fight."
"If they're fated to be, Robby will come running right back when that idiot realizes he's wrong," Miles advised. "Or I'll be knocking sense into him during the tournament."
Miles had astounding growth with his karate. He had already showed athleticism in Europe by playing the varsity football (soccer) team. Not to mention he was totally ripped (which Sam shyly enjoyed staring at). Daniel was very proud of Miles for his quick learning.
"I'm hoping to see the second option," Sam grinned.
Demetri was still concerned for how quickly you were lashing out. "Okay, your theory is proven true. Save the rest for Cobra Kai."
You paused in your punches. "I'm sure Sensei would get mad if we're not using his style of teaching," you retort before going right back at it.
"Hey, everyone, gather round. I have news." Daniel spoke as he got outside to the yard. "The All Valley committee just announced big changes for the tournament." Everyone looked curious.
"What kind of changes?" Sam asked.
"Well, see for yourself." Daniel handed the paper to her. Everyone peaked over her shoulders or read around her. "It's a whole new ball game."
