Rae woke up oddly late the morning after they got back. It was so late, Robby had to come in to get her up.
"Good morning sunshine." Robby greeted, blasting an air horn and throwing the blanket off of Rae's body.
"God, why'd Dad send you in? Don't tell me he got drunk."
"Nope. He's out right now. I just felt lonely."
"You have friends, don't you?"
"Well, yeah, but I don't want to go out."
"Okay, fine, I'll get up. Give me a minute to get changed."
"Alright princess."
Robby left the room, allowing Rae to put on a pair of jorts and one of her Dad's vintage t-shirts she stole. She went to sit down with Robby on the sofa.
"So where is Dad, anyway?"
"I think he went next door. He said something about breakfast."
From the sound of her stomach, Rae wanted breakfast too. She raced out of the door.
"I'm getting breakfast!" She shouted before almost breaking the door by slamming it.
Once arriving at the door, she knocked on it and waited politely. She heard her father's voice say, "I'll get it", and seconds later, the door was open.
"Look who's awake!" Johnny smiled.
"Hi Dad."
"What do you want?"
"Food." Rae grinned, before shoving through the door.
"Hi Mrs Diaz, hi Carmen, hello there Miguel."
"Hi Rae! How are you?" Miguel's mom greeted.
"Oh I'm great."
"How are you even awake?" Johnny asked.
"Robby woke me." Rae said while taking half of Johnny's plate and eating it herself.
"Oh, Rae, d'you want to maybe hang out later?" Miguel asked.
"Yeah, sure." She agreed, still eating Johnny's food.
"I'll text you."
"Yep!"
After this, Carmen ran off to the bathroom. Everyone heard her retching, probably due to Miguel's burnt food.
"Maybe you guys should order in instead." Johnny suggested.
"Dad. Honestly." Rae punched his shoulder, before conveniently exiting the house. "Bye! See you later Miguel. Thanks for your food, Dad!"
Once back home, Rae collapsed onto the couch.
"Good food?" Robby asked.
"I mean, a bit burnt, but nice enough." Rae critiqued.

Later in the day, Rae was hanging out with Hawk, Demetri and Miguel.
"Why are we even here?" Rae asked, very bored.
"Because Hawk wants a new tattoo." Demetri said.
"Can't we just run off and hide and get some food?"
"Please." Miguel agreed. He had been in a weird mood all day.
"Nope."
"Sweet. Thanks, Aurora. Tell Rico I said hey." Hawk thanked, signifying the tattoo was done.
"Wow. Man, you are really going all-in on Miyagi-Do, huh?" Demetri commented.
"It's a lotus flower." Hawk stated.
"Symbolises a new beginning, which is what you have now." Rae smiled.
"The reaper was a bitch to cover up. A giant flower was the only option." Hawk explained.
"It works."
Miguel threw his phone down and sighed.
"Hey, Miguel. You good?" Demetri questioned.
"Yeah. Uh, tired from the trip is all."
"Me too, but I'm not sat there scrolling on Instagram sulking." Rae muttered passive aggressively.
