"Then she showed up with her man at a fashion event, tried acting like she didn't know me,"
part two to the eleventh of november
-
Chatter filled the room as everybody patiently waited for the show to start, mingling with the people next to them. You were seated by a friend who was a celebrity stylist and invited you to Men's Paris Fashion Week with her to watch the shows in action. You would've went anyways since it was apart of you had the access with your job but going with a friend was much better seeming as you two wouldn't have been able to sit together.
"Is he meeting you at the party or are you two linking from here?" She questioned you over the soft music playing throughout the venue that was transformed into a runway for Rhude's show. You were seated at the end with an open seat next to you hoping someone didn't show up so you and your best friend can have more room since big names like this one loves to have the audience cramped but maybe that was apart of the aesthetic of it all.
"That's what he said but I'm not questioning it. He's a busy man, anyways."
"I like him for you, though." You made a face and she snickered. "You not fucking with him?"
"He's cute. The conversation is nice. The vibe is...eh like I been around better but I don't know we'll see how it continues to go like I'm not complaining so far," She nodded her head about to say something to hopefully give you some good advice but that wasn't happening as she looked past you and sighed.
"Caramel man at six o'clock," Was all she told you and at first you was confused before putting the pieces together remembering he was indeed in Paris at the same time as you.
It's been two months since his release party and since you two had seen each other. He in fact didn't find you that night like you knew he wouldn't and that satisfied find you to a point that you were happy you can enjoy your time back in LA for those two weeks you were there and just catch up with friends and not have a man in your face.
The smell of scent immediately hit your nose and you crossed one leg over the other trying to ignore just how good and clean he smelt like he always does.
Chris chuckled and took his seat after thanking the one of the show staff for showing his seat before licking his lips and glancing over at you. Keeping your eyes on the floor, ceiling, crowd, and decorations but everything except him; pretending like he wasn't sitting right next to you.
"Ya' girl trippin'" He spoke to your friend while snickering to himself and your best friend shook her head with a goofy smile on her face, always loving to see how you act in the same spot as him.
