Her back against her couch, she let out another breath as old reruns of Girlfriends played on her TV but she wasn't listening nor was the volume up to hear it. She wasn't in the mood to watch TV, talk to anyone, see anyone, she didn't even wanna leave the house. Wine bottle in lap and old tear stains on her face, she definitely thought he was the one and was wrong.

Going through his phone and seeing messages with another bitch. Talking about marrying her and having a family with her something he never did with her. She felt so stupid.

Her phone on the floor of the living room, damn near almost on 0% as she couldn't even find it in her to charge her phone.

So when a knock was heard on her apartment door, not expecting anyone, her eyebrow furrowed as she slowly stood up and walked to the door, "Who is it?"

"A real nigga. Open the fuck up," His raspy voice instructed causing her to roll her eyes and still do so. Chris stood there with a bag of food from your favorite spot, a smug look on his face. "You such a lost soul,"

"The fuck does that mean?" She questioned as he shook his head with a laugh, letting himself into her place. Placing the bag of food down on the table, he unloaded it taking our sandwiches and platters making your eyebrow raise. "What's all this?"

"All ya' favorite shit. I ain't get no candy or nothing, I can't afford you getting cavities on me." He explained.

"You should've brought some liquor- matter of fact, a gun."

"That's the last shit you need," He spoke while laughing.

Chris and her have been friends for a little over two years now. It didn't necessarily start out as a friendship as he met her by flirting with her and that leaded to a night together but she was already in the works of getting to know her fresh new ex boyfriend to which she friend-zoned Chris.

And he didn't mind.

Was just simply waiting his turn.

"So how long you been locked up in hea'?"

"And that benefits you why?" She questioned making him smirk. He grabbed the two sandwiches already knowing she'd want it first and unraveled it for her, gesturing her to sit down. The girl did with a sigh and he followed suit, sitting down across from her.

"Because I wanna know how long it's been since you had some vitamin D. But you know what, it don't even matter because I'mma get you outta here this weekend,"
