I arrive outside a gated mansion, trembling, alone in the back seat of an unfamiliar car. The reticent driver pulls up to the six foot high fence which they open immediately for him, allowing us through. Staring out of the car window I am in oar of the large luscious garden surrounding the driveway leading to a beautiful stone house nestled away from the main road. The car rounds a corner, pulling towards a large garage, clearly able to house more then just the black car I was sitting in. The driver stops the car before pulling into the building, giving me a chance to admire the huge house. My eyes drift along the building to a large window that runs down the whole height of the house, showing an ornate staircase with a man standing halfway up, staring in our direction. I quickly look back down to my hands, not wanting to meet the eyes of the person glaring at me.

'We're here.' The driver calls to me, making me jump in my seat.

I quickly look up to him to see him remove the key from the ignition before stepping out of the car.

I don't want to be here. I just want to go home. This isn't right. I haven't even been given a proper chance to say goodbye to my dad before some goons showed up and ushered me out of my home. I still don't fully understand what this person wants or why he wants to marry me. My mind races at a million miles an hour as I try to search for some answers to the never ending list of questions I have.

As I freeze in the car with my grasp on the handle I feel it give way as the driver opens the door for me. He extends his hand out for me to take and as I do he pulls me from the car onto the cobblestone drive.

Its almost impossible to admire the beauty of the house as fear wracks my body, making my legs feel like jelly. I don't risk moving, knowing I'll fall with any movement until I feel a hand land in my arm. I flinch at the contact looking up to a man who towers over my tiny frame. The suit he wears, hugs this muscular arms, showing how dangerous he is. His face is hidden behind a pair of black sunglasses, only showing a sinister smile, stretching across his lips. As I squint to look at him the low sun behind him bounces off his bald head, highlighting a scar that runs from the top of his ear, down the side of his face. My insides clench at the thought of how he got it. What happened to him? How dangerous is this place? How much trouble am I in?

'He's waiting.' The menacing bald man says to me, pushing my arm to get me to move.

He pulls the sunglasses from his round face and the recognition hits me. He was one of the goons that was holding my father down yesterday. I shake my arm out from under his grasp, not wanting him anywhere near me. It's bad enough he was there, watching while another man forced me to strip. I didn't need him feeling like I was free to just touch at any given time. I didn't want him getting ideas.

'Don't touch me.' I screech, trying to sound a lot braver than I felt, but failing.

A smirk plays on his thin lips at my sudden outburst, but he doesn't fight me on it as his hand falls to his side. He steps back far enough giving me space, waiting for me to move. It takes everything in me to try and steady myself before I edge towards the house. My legs felt ready to buckle, but I refused to show any weakness around these people. I help my head high as he guided me into the house and most probably to my certain doom.

I'm ushered through a labyrinthine of rooms, each one more decorated and breath taking than the last, until we get to a study. A desk sits by the far wall with paperwork scattered amongst it and the wall behind is entirely covered in books, stretching from one side to the other. My eyes dance around the room, taking in as much as I can until I land on the backs of two large backed chairs sitting in front of a roaring fire. It was only when I spotted the fire that I felt the warmth radiating from it. I felt myself gravitating towards it before the goon from earlier pushed me faster, clearly getting annoyed with my slow movements.
