Harley's POV
The shimmering air settled around us as we were transported back to our present time. I felt a mix of relief and anxiety, wondering if our intervention had truly made a difference. The familiar hallways of auradon prep came into focus, but they felt different—warmer, more inviting. The tense atmosphere we had grown accustomed to seemed to have lifted.
"Did it work?" Gavin asked, his voice tinged with hope and uncertainty.
"I think so," Elaine replied, looking around. "But we won't know for sure until we find Hades and maleficent."
Hadley and I exchanged a glance, and I could see the same determination in his eyes. "Let's go," I said, leading the way down the hall.
As we navigated the academy, we found ourselves in a corridor that branched off into two directions. "Hadley, you come with me. Gavin, Elaine, check the other wing," I instructed.
We moved quickly, our footsteps echoing through the hallways. "We need to find them," Hadley said, urgency in his voice. "I have a feeling something isn't right."
We turned a corner, and suddenly, Hadley was no longer beside me. I spun around, panic rising in my chest. "Hadley? Hadley!"
No response. I felt a cold dread settle over me, but I forced myself to stay calm. "I'll find you," I whispered, more to myself than to him, and continued down the hall.

I found myself in a dimly lit corridor, separated from the group. I turned around, disoriented, only to come face to face with my childhood bullies. The sight of them sent a chill down my spine. They were older now, but their menacing expressions hadn't changed.
"Look who it is," one of them sneered. "Hadley, the big shot. Thinks he's too good for us now because he goes to auradon prep."
"Yeah," another one chimed in. "You think you're special, huh?"
I swallowed hard, trying to keep my composure. "I don't want any trouble. I'm just looking for my sister."
The bullies laughed, a cruel sound that echoed through the hall. "Hear that, boys? He doesn't want any trouble."
One of them stepped forward, raising a fist. "Well, you're about to get some anyway."
Just as the bully was about to strike, a deep, commanding voice rang out. "That's enough."
The bullies froze, turning to see Hades standing at the end of the corridor, his eyes blazing with fury. "Leave him alone," Hades growled.
The boys exchanged nervous glances before turning tail and running off, terrified. Hades watched them go before turning to Hadley. "Are you okay?"
Hadley, shaken but relieved, nodded. "Yeah, Dad. Thanks."
Hades moved closer, his expression softening. "I'm sorry I wasn't here sooner."
Without another word, Hadley threw his arms around his father, holding him tightly. Hades hugged him back, a sense of relief washing over him. "Let's get you back to your sister and mother," Hades said gently.

I found Mom and Dad near the entrance of the auradon prep, their faces etched with worry. "Harley!" Mom exclaimed, rushing over to me. "Where have you been? We've been worried sick."
"I'm sorry, Mom," I said, my voice trembling. "Hadley was right behind me, but I lost him. I don't know where he is."
Dad's expression turned serious. "I'll find him," he said, turning to leave.
"Dad, wait," I called after him, but he was already gone, determined to find Hadley.
It didn't take long for Dad to locate Hadley. He arrived just as the bullies were making their escape. "Hadley, are you okay?" he asked again, his voice filled with concern.
Hadley nodded, still holding on to his father. "I'm fine now. Let's go back."
Together, they made their way back to the entrance, where Mom and I were waiting. When Hadley and Dad appeared, Mom rushed forward, pulling Hadley into a tight embrace. "Thank goodness you're safe," she said, tears streaming down her face.
"I'm okay, Mom," Hadley reassured her. "Dad found me."
I watched the reunion, feeling a mixture of relief and guilt. "I'm sorry, Hadley. I shouldn't have lost you."
"It's not your fault, Harley," Hadley said, giving me a reassuring smile. "We made it back, and that's what matters."
Dad placed a hand on my shoulder, his eyes full of pride. "You both did great. You showed real courage."
Mom nodded, wiping her tears. "We're so proud of you."
As we stood there, reunited and safe, I felt a sense of hope and determination fill me. The road ahead wouldn't be easy, but we had each other, and that made all the difference.
"Let's get you too settled in the dorms," Mom said softly, and together, we made our way to the school quite pleased with ourselves
We had saved auradon from Bridget and gave red the mother she always wanted and we saved my parents marriage. Everyone was happy.
