chapter 1

Hadley pov

It's been 16 years since my parents Hades and maleficent divorced forcing me and my twin sister Harley to grow up with our father on the far side of the isle and let me tell you it was hell on earth.

Growing up dad was like playing Russian roulette. One minute he was calm, cool and collected and a minute later he was angry and yelling and screaming about how he didn't belong here and that he was a god and me and my sister are like come on we get it already shut up about it

But it could be worse we could have been living with our mother and our older sister, Mal

Maleficent hated us with every fiber of her being. I think she hates us more than sleeping beauty

And don't get me started about Mal. Mal was stupid and wasn't that evil the only reason she was as feared as she was on the isle is because of maleficent and the only reason her stupid friends Jay, Evie and Carlos were feared is because they were in alliance with Mal. Mal always thought she was better than us since she was raised by the "mistress of evil" herself

I personally didn't think she was all that great especially since she was so easily defeated in her dragon form

Anyway we were also hated by the kids on the far side of the isle and they didn't mind showing it either

At first it was both me and Harley that got beat up and harassed but as Harley got older and started hanging out with CJ hook she got crazy and it made the kids hesitant to bully her in fear that she would gut them like a fish so I got all of it and then some

I hated my parents and my older sister, Mal. I cared about my twin though but she wasn't always around so I was basically alone all the time and got bullied for what I still didn't have a clue but one day all that changed

It was on my 12th birthday and the day that Mal had made the decision to chose to be good instead of evil and not steal the wand to free us and let me tell you the kids of the isle were not happy and they wanted to let there anger out on her but since she wasn't here I was the next best thing and they didn't show no mercy

I seriously thought I was gonna die at the young age of 12 that is until comb with a pointed end flew past me stabbing one of them in the shoulder making the others gasp in shock and fear knowing where the comb came from the one and only Gavin Gothel

Gavin had a reputation he was known for being the most handsome boy on the isle he even gave Harry a run for his money.
Gavin also known for being violent at times especially when you either mess with his hair or mess with someone he claims belongs to him which was exactly the case today but I didn't know then

"Hands off. He's with me." Gavin  said as he yanked the comb out of the kid's shoulder causing him great pain

Of course Gavin. We didn't know the boy said

Well you know now. Now scram. Gavin said and the kids didn't hesitate to scatter in different directions

Why did you do that? I asked

Umm that doesn't sound like a thank you to me Gavin said running the comb though his hair

That was because it wasn't. now why did you do that? This is the isle people don't do nice shit without wanting something in return I said

Well you're not wrong. I've been watching you a while and you would make a perfect ally and friend being the son of hades all and you wouldn't have to worry about being bullied anymore Gavin said

And that's how our friendship was born.

That was four years ago and now me, my sister and Gavin were about to go on a new adventure.

You see after Mal married her mini beast and brought down the barrier once and for all we received an invitation to attend auradon prep from uma who was now the principal and apparently we weren't the only kids that got an invite

Red, the princess of wonderland and the daughter of the queen of hearts and the tyrant of wonderland was also invited which was surprising since fairy godmother boarded up the entrance to wonderland after the queen refused to unite with the rest of auradon

This should be fun indeed.
