Astrid POV
When we got back to our apartment I locked the door behind me and sat on the couch. After sitting in silence for a minute, Priscilla finally spoke up. "So..." she said, smirking, "You and Jake seemed pretty cozy at the bar."
"I have no idea what you're talking about." I said, hiding my face away.
"Don't give me that shit," she said defiantly "He was flirting with you from the moment we met him."
"What? No he wasn't." I could feel my cheeks heating up. "You're drunk anyways, you don't know what you're talking about."
"Drunk? I barely had two drinks."
"Okay well, you're still wrong."
"I know what I saw," she said "for fucks sake you're still blushing."
I didn't know what to say, "It's hot in here."
"Probably because you still have that damn jacket on."
"Whatever, I'm going to bed."
"What?" She said, slightly offended, "We're still discussing the nights events!"
"No we're not, we have to meet them at the recording studio at eight tomorrow morning."
"Eight!?" Priscilla complained "And I thought ten thirty was early."
"Goodnight Pris, love you." I said, standing up to give her a hug.
She reluctantly got up and returned the hug, "Whatever, it's your fault if you get hurt trying to wake me up though."
I made my way back to my room and hung Jake's jacket on the back of the door. It smelled like sandalwood and cedar, God it was intoxicating. For about an hour I just laid there, thinking about his arm around my shoulder and how good he smelled. Was Pris right, could he have been flirting with me? I mean I've dated people before but Pris has always been the one to tell me that they're actually interested. He was hot too, like really hot, the idea of him liking me was absolutely insane. Why would a literal celebrity like a photographer who can't get a job for the life of her? Whatever, it was getting late anyways and I had to get up early to make sure Priscilla would actually get out of bed. I put on my pajamas and settled back in, setting an alarm for six on my phone and drifted off to sleep.
I woke up to a knock on my door, "Come in!" I said, in disbelief that Priscilla woke up before me.
"Good morning," I heard a voice say, and I launched up in my bed.
"J-J-Jake?" I said in shock, "What are you doing here?"
"Priscilla let me in." He said, "Thought I might bring you some breakfast."
I sat in my bed speechless.
"Don't worry, I wasn't being creepy or anything, I asked her last night if it was okay for me to stop by."
"Oh, so that's why she thought you were flirting all night."
"What?" he said, the corners of mouth turning up slightly.
"Shit," I closed my eyes in embarrassment. "You probably weren't supposed to know that. Plus you weren't even flirting you were just being nice. I shouldn't have said anything, damnit I'm so stupid!"
He sat on the bed at my feet, "Who said I wasn't flirting?"
"I-uh," He cut me off
"I don't give just anyone my jacket you know?" He said, placing his hand on my thigh.
Butterflies in my stomach, "Oh, really?" I said, my voice shaking.
"Only really special girls," he said, his hand moving upwards to my hip, "the ones with short red hair and gorgeous smiles; and especially the photographers." He then used both hands to pull me closer to him. There we were, our faces about five inches apart and his hands resting on my hips. Right as I was about to say something I was cut off again, this time by his lips pressing against mine. The smell of his cologne enveloping me as I leaned deeper into it. I laced my fingers through his gorgeous hair as he pulled me up into his lap.
We separated for brief moment, "God you're beautiful." he said, before reconnecting his lips with my neck. I let out a slight moan and I could feel him smile into my neck. He continued the trail of kisses down my neck before pulling my shirt over my head where he paused for a minute, just staring at me. "I could stare at this all day."
"Be my guest," I said, trying to build my confidence. Before I could say anything else he was leaning me back onto the bed, pressing soft kiss down the center of my chest and stopping right above the hem of my shorts.
"I think these need to go," he said, hooking his fingers into them as well as my underwear. In one swift motion they were both pulled off and thrown across the room. He continued to pepper kisses across my inner thighs, looking up at me to smirk between kisses. He reached his hand up and interlaced his fingers with mine. He gave me one last look as if asking for consent, I nodded and squeezed his hand in response and he bent down to-
*Beep Beep*
My eyes shot open and I looked around, there was no Jake to be found.
"GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!" I screamed.
I heard stumbling and a crash from the room next to me right before my door swung open, Priscilla standing in the doorway with a concerned look on her face. "What's wrong? I heard screaming." she said, out of breath.
"Nothing," I said, hiding my head in shame, "I'm fine, I just had a dream."
"Then why are you so sweaty, you look like you just ran a-" A look of realization hit her face. "Holy shit, you had a sex dream!"
"What are you talking about?"
"You're flushed and sweaty, I know that look anywhere." she said smirking at me.
"Okay, so what? It's a perfectly normal, adult thing."
"I knew it!" Priscilla said, hopping onto the bed. "Okay spill, who was this glorious dream about?"
"Not important, plus it wasn't glorious," I said shaking my head "The alarm went off before anything good happened."
"Okay so, since nothing happened, who was it?" she said "It wasn't Jake was it?"
I turned my head and started blushing hard. "Oh my God it was Jake! I knew you had a thing for him." She said matter of factly.
"It doesn't matter." I stated, "I have to act like nothing happened or else I won't be able to function around him, and I still have the whole week left."
Pris shook her head, "That's bullshit, I say go for it!"
"Are you insane?"
"Think about it, he likes you, you like him, it all works out!"
"Except for the fact that he doesn't like me, he was just being nice."
"Yeah, keep telling yourself that." she said "Now, go take a shower, you have to look HOT today."
"Whatever." I said, dragging myself to the bathroom. I turned on the water and stepped in immediately, I needed the cold water to wake me up. Once I finished in the shower I parked myself in front of the mirror to do my makeup, not to much, but a little something to show off that I put some effort in. After doing that and pulling my hair into a slick back I put on my robe and ran into the kitchen to find Priscilla. "I don't know what to wear! Help!"
"Don't worry girl, your savior is here." She said, shoving past me and heading right to my closet. She dug around for a little bit before pulling out a stretchy, tight fitting dress. "Ooh, perfect!"
"I'm going to work, not the club." I said, crossing my arms.
"I know that," she said, scowling "trust the process."
She dug through my shoes and pulled out a pair of Nike Air Forces and threw them at me. After sitting in the bottom of my closet for a minute, she ran out the door to her bedroom. "Be right back!" she shouted, and she came back with a white cardigan. "Go put it on." she demanded.
When I finished changing, I stepped out into my bedroom and Priscilla's jaw dropped. "Alright, give it a spin!" I spun around slowly. "Damn! Look at that ass!"
"Don't say that." I said shyly.
"Get used to it girl, Jake is gonna be all over you." She said excitedly.
"Whatever," I said, hiding myself in the Cardigan. "Let's just go already."
