Jake POV

I spent the entire morning hating myself, I couldn't believe I had a sex dream about a girl I just met. I thought I would at least get to know her better first, and maybe even ask her on a date, but now I can't even look at her, but it was so hard to look away. She walked into the studio wearing the most gorgeous dress that hugged her just right, each of her curves looked perfect; I had to look away or who knows what I would do. To make things worse I couldn't even focus on our music, throughout the entire first session I kept messing up notes and I just couldn't keep it together. After a couple hours we decided to take a break, the boys went back into the view room while I stayed back a little bit. I kept wracking my brain, thinking of how to make things normal between us again, but I couldn't get those images of her out of my head, water I needed water.

When I walked into the view room I was greeted by Astrid, asleep, lying in Sam's lap. What the fuck was he doing? What the fuck was she doing? I thought that she actually liked me. I could feel myself getting heated, so to avoid starting something I ran to the bathroom, not thinking, the first thing I did was pull out my phone and start calling someone.

"Hey Jake! What's up?" the voice on the other end said.

"Hannah, you'll never believe what my ass of a brother is doing right now!" I said

"Oh God, what's Sam done now?" she asked, disappointed.

"At this very moment, your boyfriend is sitting in the recording studio with a girl he just met asleep on his lap."

Hannah laughed, "Haha, very funny Jake."

"I'm not joking Hannah." I said sternly.

"Yeah right."

"I'm serious, it's one of the girls we met yesterday from the magazine, and we're gonna be with her all week."

"Jake, if you're trying to pull something it's not funny."

"Does it sound like I'm kidding?"

"God, I'm gonna kill him!"

"Just thought I'd let you know, I've got to go now, I'm sorry Hannah." I said, hanging up the phone and shoving it back into my pocket.

When I got back into the room, she was still sound asleep on Sam's lap. I wished it was me in that moment, I would hold her and run my fingers through her hair, but Sam had to go and be a conniving little fucker and steal her from me. I sat down in the chair across from them and I knew I was scowling, but I couldn't help it. How could she fall for him and not me? I probably spent another ten minutes just staring at them before Josh and Priscilla came back. Immediately Josh said something cheesy to get me out of my chair and dragged me into the recording room.

Once we were by ourselves he pulled me into the corner, "Jake, listen. You've been kind of a pain in the ass all morning and I hate to break it to you, we all know why."

My stomach tightened, "What do you mean?"

"You talk in your sleep buddy boy, and you are very loud when you do." My face turned bright red, "But guess what?"

"What?" I said, rolling my eyes.

"She had a dream about you too." He whispered, smirking devilishly.

"Oh yeah, sure she did."

"I'm dead serious, Priscilla told me everything."

My frown slowly turned to a smile, I couldn't believe it, she actually liked me. Josh patted me on the back and turned towards the door when Sam and Danny walked in. The rest of the session went off without a hitch! Every time she came to me with the camera, I went as hard as possible, trying to make her laugh and luckily it worked. When we finished our session and returned to the viewing room Priscilla was glaring at us.

"What's wrong Priscilla?" Josh asked her, "Do I need to put a smile on another face?"

"I'm positive the only smile you could put on my face comes with food." She said, staring him down.

"Well what does the Queen desire for her midday feast?" He said playfully.

She smiled and quickly played along, "Hmm, I think that a nice meal from the bread of Panera would satisfy my pallet!"

"Alright then!" Josh exclaimed, "Whatever milady wants, milady shall get!" The two linked arms and started to skip out the door into the hallway with Sam and Danny close in tow.

I motioned to the doorway for Astrid, trying to be as princely as possible, matching the energy of my brother before me, but when she walked past she didn't seem entertained. "What's wrong with this princess?" I asked her.

She blushed lightly, "Oh, it's nothing." she said, clearly lying. I hadn't known her long, but I could tell when she was upset.

"Nice try," I said walking a little bit closer to her so I could whisper, "I'm not saying that you have to confide in me, but I am here, and I feel that I'm a trustworthy person."

She looked up at me, the redness in her cheeks deepening, "It's just that, Pris has such a big personality that whenever we hang out with other people, they only pay attention to her and what she wants. I feel like I never get to say anything when she's around because she just takes up every room she's in. Don't get me wrong, I love her so much, but in big groups of people I feel like I can never get a word in edge wise. Like when we met all of y'all, you guys are just so magnetized to her that it feels like you're friends with her and not me."

"Well," I said "I can't speak for the boys but I know that I am much more magnetized to you than her."

The corners of her lips turned upwards, "Really?"

"From the moment I met you, I've just felt like we have had a connection, kind of like we've been friends since childhood." She looked away, "I know it's stupid but it really does feel like that, and I'm assuming that this whole tangent means that you do not want Panera for lunch?"

Her smile continued to widen, "You really do know me."

"Why don't you and I go somewhere else for lunch, let the four of them have their dumb soup or whatever?"

"I'd like that." She said, turning back to me, her beautiful smile radiating warmth.

By the time we had caught back up with the group, Priscilla was explaining the subway system to the guys, trying to figure out the best way to get to the restaurant.

"At last, these two join us!" Sam said playfully, "Could you guys walk any slower?" All I offered was a scoff in return.

"You ready to go Astrid?" Priscilla asked her friend.

Before Astrid could say anything, I jumped in. "Actually, we're going to find somewhere else to eat, not really feeling Panera."

"Oh really?" My twin asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, really." I said, trying not to blush.

Priscilla and Josh made eye contact and started smiling, "That's fine," she said, "Could I at least have my sweatshirt back, it gets cold in there."

"You have my sweater." Astrid replied.

"Yes, but it doesn't match my outfit!" Priscilla said sarcastically.

Reluctantly Astrid pulled the sweatshirt off and traded jackets with Priscilla, for the few brief second when she didn't have anything over her dress I couldn't help but stare, she was the most gorgeous girl I'd ever seen. Once she put the sweater back on, I wrapped my arm around her waist. "We'll see you guys later." Josh said, smirking at me.

"Meet us back at the house?" Danny said

I nodded and turned around and as we walked away from the group I could feel her shivering from the bitterness of the cold air. I tightened by grip around her, hoping I could keep her warm and as I did so I heard Josh call out from behind me, "Don't do anything I wouldn't do!" I shook my head and started laughing.

"So, where are we going?" she asked, leaning in closer.

"Anywhere you want, princess." I said softly.
