Priscilla POV

As we walked back to Josh's house, the night air was cool and refreshing, a stark contrast to the pulsing energy of the party we had just left. I glanced over at Josh, who was practically bouncing with excitement.

"So, spill it! What was the deal with you and Dave? Did you two have a romantic rendezvous under the disco ball?" he teased, wiggling his eyebrows comically.

I chuckled, feeling a mix of giddiness and uncertainty. "Okay, so it wasn't exactly a 'disco ball' moment, but we did kiss. And it felt... nice."

"Nice? Just nice? Come on, you gotta give me more than that! Was it like fireworks or more like a sparkler?" he asked, gesturing wildly with his hands.

"Maybe somewhere in between?" I replied, biting my lip to suppress a smile. "I didn't expect to have such a connection so quickly."

"That's because you've only known him for, like, five seconds! That's practically a speed-dating record!" Josh said, laughing.

I rolled my eyes, but his silliness was infectious. "I know, right? But it felt... easy. Like we just clicked."

Josh nodded, his expression turning serious for a moment. "I get that. And honestly, I'm happy for you. But just so you know, Dave's a good friend of mine. He's not the kind of guy who messes around with someone's feelings. If he likes you, he genuinely likes you."

"Really?" I asked, appreciating his insight. "That's reassuring to hear."

"And about Danny..." he started, glancing sideways at me. "You looked like you were having the time of your life when you saw him getting all jealous. What's that about?"

I paused, the warmth of the night wrapping around me. "I don't know, Josh. I shouldn't feel that way. I mean, we didn't even date. But seeing him like that tonight... it made me realize I might have some feelings for him too. I mean, he's charming, and—"

"Three weeks of charm and now you're a puddle of emotions!" Josh exclaimed dramatically, clutching his heart. "You're in deep, girl!"

"Shut up!" I laughed, playfully shoving him. "But seriously, it's confusing. I thought I was over it, but maybe there's something there that I just didn't see before."

"Sounds like you're caught in a love square—Dave, Danny, and you, the unsuspecting heroine!" he quipped, striking a superhero pose.

I couldn't help but giggle at his antics. "You're ridiculous!"

"Thank you! I pride myself on my ridiculousness. But honestly, I think it's great you're exploring how you feel. Just remember that you don't have to rush into anything. Take your time!"

"Yeah, I guess I need to figure out what I really want," I said thoughtfully, the weight of his words settling in.

When we finally reached his house, I felt a mixture of relief and warmth wash over me. The comforting familiarity of his living space welcomed me, and I let out a sigh of contentment.

"Home sweet home!" Josh exclaimed, dropping his bag on the floor with a loud thud. "Now, let's celebrate your newfound romance with some snacks! I'm thinking popcorn, chocolate, and a movie marathon?"

I smiled at his enthusiasm. "That sounds perfect. I could use some distraction after everything tonight."

As we settled onto the couch, I felt a wave of gratitude for Josh. He had become such an incredible friend in just a few weeks, someone I could lean on through the ups and downs.

"Hey, come here," he said, pulling me into a warm hug. "I'm really glad you're here. You deserve to enjoy yourself and figure things out."

"Thanks, Josh," I murmured into his shoulder, feeling the comfort of his friendship envelop me. "It means a lot."
