In the heart of Rajasthan, nestled between rolling sand dunes and ancient forts, lay a small beautiful town, Jaisalmer. This town was known for its vibrant festivals and rich traditions. Life here moved at a steady, unhurried pace, with the old streets and traditional houses whispering tales of bygone eras. It was in this peaceful town that Rohan was returning after several years of studying engineering in the crowded city of Jaipur.

Rohan's family had been eagerly waiting for his return. His mother, had been bustling around the house for days, preparing his favorite dishes like Ghevar, Imarti, Chourma ladoo, Bhalushali, etc. (muh mein paani nai lana😙) and also decorating the home with colorful rangoli (art) patterns. The aroma of freshly cooked parathas and spicy curries filled the air, creating an inviting and comforting atmosphere.

As the bell rings, Aditi runs to the door to open it, but finds no one.

"Mamaaa, koi nai hai."
(Mom, there is nobody here).

"Ashaaaa??" (Is that so??) here comes a familiar voice.

Sunita ji came and saw herself, only to find Rohan standing with a broad smile on his face at the door.

"Hawww, abhi toh nai they." (you were not here earlier), have you also learned wizardry bhai?? "Mujhe bhi aap kaheen gayab toh nai kardo gey??" (Will you make me disappear too?) Aditi stated dramatically, only to earn a small slap on head from their mom.

"Ashaaa jiii... Bhai kya aaye mujhe hi paraya krdiya. Aisa hi hai toh jis din meri bidai hogi, mai bhi apna mehanga makeup kharaab nahi krugi."
(Really?, as brother came, you alienated me. If this is so, then I'm also not going to ruin my expensive makeup on the day of my marriage).

"Us din ka intazar rahega cheeku, phir tera kamra mere bachon ka." said Rohan while ruffling her hair playfully.
(Waiting for that day sweeti, then your room will be my kid's room.)

Maaaaaaa. Aditi said annoyed.

"Asha chalo bas, usey andar toh aane do. Said Rajesh ji."
(Ok enough, let him come inside first.)

Rohan freshened up and came back downstairs only to find his family already sitting at the dining table waiting for him. Rohan also joined them.

"Beta, tumhare aane se ghar mein kitni raunak aa gayi," Rohan's mother exclaimed, her eyes glistening with happiness as she looked at him.
(Son, your return has brought so much joy to the house.)

Rohan, carrying a sense of accomplishment and nostalgia, smiled broadly. "Haan Maa, maine bhi aap sabko bahut miss kiya," he replied, his voice filled with emotion.
(Yes, Mom, I also missed you all.)

"Asha beta," I have arranged a small welcome party tonight to celebrate your return, also, I have invited some relatives and some close friends, said Rajesh ji.

Rohan nodded with a smile while devouring his favorite dishes made by Aditi ji.

As they finished their meal, Aditi whispered into his ear, "bhabhi se kab milva rhe ho bhai??" Making him choke on water at the sudden question of his sister.
(When are you introducing me to my sister-in-law??)

"Maine kush nai kaha," Aditi said loudly, gaining everybody's attention.
(I didn't say anything)

Rohan glared her and excused himself before leaving for his room.

[At night...]

The living room was adorned with beautiful flowers, and traditional folk music played softly in the background. The house was alive with laughter and conversations.

As more guests arrived, Rohan also came downstairs in his glory; well dressed in three piece black suit, a silver dial watch adoring his right hand and AND Waitttt, WHATTTTT????...Aditi also following him with a crown in her hand, trying to place it on his head.

Are you mad or what?? Rohan murmured with an awkward smile still facing all the guests.

Bhai, this is YOUR welcome party. I thought maybe this will gain you more attention in the party as this is organized only for you to make you feel special. Aditi said with a pout.

SERIOUSLY??? "Cheeku, tu badi toh ho gyi, par mujhe kyu nai dikh rha. Mere peeshe se sir par koi chot toh nahi khai thi na??" Rohan said concerned.
(Sweeti, you are all grown up now, but why am I not able to see that. You didn't get hit your head in my absence, did you?)

As Aditi was going to say anything further, they heard everyone chuckling at the siblings duo, and they both freeze at their places.

"Arey bachon ruk kyu gye, main toh tumhari video bana rhi thi. Apne pota-poti, dota-doti ko dikhaugi na. Abhi toh maza aana shuru hua tha, aur lado." said Sulochna ji.
(Hey kids why did you stop, I was just recording you two so that I could show it to my grandkids. We had just started having fun, please continue.)

"Dadiiiiiiiiiii. Aap kab aaein??" They both said in unison and made a run towards her.
(Dadi, when did you come?)

"Bas jab tum dono choohe-billi ki tarah lad rahe they." Dadi said holding their ears, while all started laughing.
(Just when you both were fighting like rat and cat.)

"Namaste maa, namaste dadi." said Rajesh ji and Sunita ji and Rohan by touching her feet.

"Jeete raho mere bachon." said dadi.
(Live long my children.)

Dadi gestured Rohan to come near her, as if she wanted to ask or tell him a secret. Due to their height difference Rohan had to bend a little to listen to her.

Dadi's next words made Rohan again choke on air, gaining everybody's attention.

"Bhai ko moch aagye...BHAI KO MOCH AAGYE." Aditi screamed dramatically, again earing a smack from her mother.
(Brother sprained his back*2)

"Kyaa?? Dadi-pota aapas mein ab baat bhi nahi kar skte??" Dadi said offended by sudden attention.
(What?? Can't grandmother and grandson even talk to each other??)

"Bta naa. Kab la rha hai?" Dadi again whispered to Rohan.
(Tell me, when are you bringing?)
