After the exhibition, the days passed in a blur for Priya. Between catching up on her college assignments and the lingering excitement from her successful display, she barely had time to think about the growing connection with Rohan. But whenever she did, a small smile would creep onto her face, unbidden.Rohan, on the other hand, found himself thinking about Priya more than he cared to admit. Her passion, her clumsiness, and even the way she stammered when she was nervous, everything about her intrigued him. There was something about her that felt different, refreshing.

One evening, a few days after the exhibition, Priya was at her college preparing for the final presentation, as she was selected for the final event which was as the state level by the end of next week. The students had been working tirelessly, and the pressure was clearly visible. Priya, determined to give her best as always, had pushed herself to the limit, often skipping meals and getting little sleep.
That evening, as she was overseeing the preparations, Priya began to feel light-headed. She shook her head, trying to clear the fog, but it only seemed to grow thicker. The voices around her started to sound distant, and the room began to spin.
"Priya, are you okay?" a concerned voice asked, but it sounded muffled, as if coming from far away.
Priya tried to respond, but the words wouldn’t come. She felt her legs give way, and the last thing she saw was the ground rushing up to meet her before everything went black.
**Meanwhile, Rohan had just arrived at the college.**
(as the preparations was in full swing, anyone could come to college premises to pick them up after 5 p.m.)He had been thinking about Priya all day, and something had urged him to check in on her. As he walked through the campus, he noticed a small group of students gathered near parking lot, their faces etched with concern.
“What’s going on?” Rohan asked, quickening his pace.
One of the students turned to him. “It’s...it's Priya. She just collapsed.”
Panic surged through Rohan as he pushed past the crowd. And then he saw her, Priya, lying on the ground, pale and unconscious.
Without thinking, Rohan rushed to her side, his heart pounding in his chest. He knelt down, gently lifting her into his arms. “Priya? Priya, can you hear me?”
There was no response. Her breathing was shallow, and her skin felt cold to the touch. Rohan’s mind raced. He needed to get her help, fast.
“Someone call an ambulance!” he shouted, his voice edged with urgency. The students around him scrambled to comply, but Rohan didn’t wait. He carefully picked Priya up, cradling her against his chest, and started walking quickly toward his car.
The world seemed to blur around him as he focused solely on Priya. She was so light in his arms, so fragile. A wave of protectiveness washed over him, stronger than anything he’d ever felt before.
As he laid her gently in the passenger seat and buckled her in, Rohan’s hands trembled slightly. He took a deep breath, forcing himself to stay calm. He needed to get her to the hospital, and fast.
The drive to the hospital was a blur. Rohan kept glancing at Priya, praying she would open her eyes, but she remained unconscious. His heart ached with worry, and he couldn’t help but think of all the things he wished he’d said to her. There was so much he hadn’t told her yet, so much he wanted to share.
-----
Finally, they arrived at the hospital. Rohan parked haphazardly and rushed inside, carrying Priya in his arms. The medical staff quickly took over, and Rohan was left standing in the waiting room, his mind racing with fear and worry. He hadn’t realized until now just how much she had come to mean to him.
