The news of the proposal weighed heavily on Priya, and she found herself increasingly distracted, unable to focus on her studies or anything else. Rohan's daily visits had become her only solace, but even those now carried a feeling of agitation which she couldn't ignore.

Little did she know, Rohan had already got to know about her situation, and his usually calm demeanor had been replaced by a brewing storm of emotions.

Not able to control anymore, he called Priya, his voice tense, unlike the playful tone she was used to.

Rohan: Hey Priya, good morning.
Priya: Good morning Rohan. (She replied in a sad tone)
Rohan: hmm..I hope you are doing well. (without giving a chance to her to respond, he continued) Ahmm.. can you come to my place tomorrow?? I need to talk to you.
Priya: Roha...
Rohan: Please Priya, it's important.

Priya hesitated, sensing the seriousness in his voice, she eventually agreed. "Okay, I'll try to come."
Rohan: You have to (he murmured)
Priya: Sorry?
Rohan: Ahbbb nothing, chalo see you tomorrow.
Priya: ok..by...(but before she could say bye, he cut the call from another side)

The next day, with some difficulty and a flimsy excuse to her parents, Priya managed to make her way to Rohan's house.

"Behan tu sambhaal le gi na?" Priya asked Nisha on call while settling herself in cab which she booked to go to his place.
(Bro, you'll manage, no??)

"Haan haan meri jaan, tu chinta mat kar, tu mere sath mall main hai." Nisha teased her.
(Of course sweetheart, you don't worry, you are with me at mall.)

"Shut up yar, you already know how much tensed I'm right now," how will I face him? "What if he fails to understand my situation? What if he stops taking to me? What if...what if he throws me...." she was interrupted by Nisha, "apne dimag k ghode kam chla meri ma, aisa kush nahi hoga."
(You are overthinking it, nothing will happen like this.)

-----

Her heart raced as she approached the door, unsure of what to expect. When Rohan greeted her, his eyes were intense, filled with a mix of emotions she couldn't figure out.

"Hi, Priya," Rohan's mother, greeted her warmly, instantly putting Priya at ease. "I've heard so much about you from my son. It's lovely to finally meet you in person."

Priya smiled, the warmth in her eyes comforting her. "It's nice to meet you too, Aunty ji."

Sunita ji, sensing Priya's initial discomfort, quickly engaged her in light conversation, asking about her studies and interests. In no time, the two of them were chatting like old friends, much to Rohan's silent relief. His mother had always had a way of making people feel at home, and today was no exception.

After a while, she asked Rohan with a smile. "Why don't you show Priya around the house, Rohan? I'm sure she'd like to see where you grew up."

Rohan nodded, his expression softening as he met Priya's gaze. "Come on, Priya. Let me give you the grand tour."

As they moved through the house, Priya couldn't help but feel a growing sense of unease. There was something about the way Rohan was behaving-more reserved, that made her nervous. When they finally reached his room, Rohan opened the door and gestured for Priya to enter first.

Soon as they were inside, Rohan abruptly closed the door, the sound echoing through the room.

Priya's heart pounded in her chest as she turned to see Rohan approaching.

"y...ye kya kar rhe h..."she stammered as she saw his movements deliberate yet unnervingly calm towards her. His eyes, dark and intense, were locked on her with a focus that made her stomach do gymnastics.
(W...what are you doing...?)
